Hi Tom, you write very good article about energy saving. In the company I work, I've been challanged to find the opportunity to reduce energy usage. We started by replacing all bigger wattage with lower wattage lamps without sacrifice the safety issue. We also put skylight on the ceiling at particular area so we don't turn on lights during daytime. But the most important thing is to change people mindset, to give them awareness that even small initiative can make a big impact such as turn-off unused electric devices.

First time I read the title I was confused why you call it the “city of big shoulders”, I thought that there were many "men with big shoulders". Then I browsed the internet and found that it's referring to its numerous skyscrapers, which were invented in Chicago, and described as being husky and brawling.
