I’m amazed to find an article about international trade mentioning Britain and yet completely ignoring the ending of Britain’s relationship with by far its biggest trading partner - the EU.

All British people heard for a long time was “we hold all the cards” and “they need us more than we need them”. This has been all but proven pure fantasy with the British government making a big deal over new trade deal a fraction of what the UK had with the EU. If the data from Brexit had examined then this British influence would be shown to have shrunk significantly.

I'm needing to update DNS records for my domains, but with domain renewals due soon, but my interest in keeping the domains with NameCheap is on a par with the relevant NameCheap department and their interest in providing custom DNS templates - a feature found with many other registrars but which the relevant NameCheap department has clearly kept out of NameCheap for years.

Not working for me. Error 7017. I've been trying to watch the last 32 minutes of a two hour movie for 50 minutes... still got 13 minutes to go. Why couldn't it be the first 20 minutes?! I've cleaned out my system, browser cache, system cache, disconnected and reconnected wifi, turn computer off for a few minutes. Still i wait to find out how this movie ends. Every says the services is fully working except for Down Detector which is reflecting the problems I'm having with Prime Video.

This is fantastic and I'm glad I can include weekends easily, but why default to 11am to 5pm and offer no option for earlier or later finish times without creating an event at those times? I can create a daily event such as "breakfast" at 8am and an evening event at 11pm and call it bed time, that does kind of work but stretches over two pages in both portrait and landscape view.

Hi Stephanie, this looks great and you seem so approachable, I get the impression that you explain things really well. Personally I've found so many people teaching property investment, many offering webinars, and I'm not sure which to choose, but I'll look through your workbook. I have arranged to attend one in-person training soon from another property teacher, now I wonder if I should cancel while I still can and learn from you instead, or as well - if I can afford it. I have also looked at Rent to Rent before, but I couldn't see how it would work for me.

Great article, Sam, you clearly know the subject well. I first purchased Bitcoin in 2014 in order to invest in what must be one of the very first ICOs and I did well out of it, though I did sell two days too early (but with good reason to do so) when I sold my tokens last year. I didn't get back into Bitcoin until last May, a few month earlier and I would have a full time income from Bitcoin now, but what I have make now does make up most of my income and it is growing, though I'm not yet spending it, I'm reinvesting. In the longer-term, I plan to siphon off some profits into fiat money and use that for day trading, some of it automated.

You strategy sounds interesting and safe, but I think could be better and that you can afford to be a little less safe. Personally I'm investing in a number of carefully considered ICOs, I think the best cryptocurrency investment opportunities are in cryptocurrency mining that uses renewable energy. Having said that, the volatility (which is a consequence of the lack of government control), makes day trading cryptocurrency even more profitable, but very risky if you don't know what you're doing. Another industry that will do well from decentralisation is law (unless you're a low level lawyer), this is thanks to the developing Smart Contract technology.

Those claiming there is no value in ICOs aren't asking key questions such as "does it duplicate what existing popular currencies do?" and "does it offer an actual service?"

As for the best cryptocurrency, you say Bitcoin, but why? It's the highest valued and most talked about, but how do the fundamentals compare to others? At the moment Bitcoin urgently needs to change and Segwit2X sounds like it has the answer, but it's from an unknown group of developers, unlike the original Bitcoin Segwit2X.

Bitcoin at its core is only money (a store of value and a medium of exchange, and arguably a messaging system), but there are others which in the long-term have better potential. Most notable is Ethereum because it's not a currency, it's an entire platform with its own currency, called Ether. There are now at least two other decentralised app platforms attracting attention too, but by far most decentralised apps and services are on the Ethereum blockchain, so I wonder if these competitors will ever catch up.

I agree. Move $300 of BTC or about 0.01 BTC and you might get 0.01 B2X, and how much 0.01 B2X worth? For $300 worth of Bitcoin, I'll bet it's less than the BTC fees to move the original Bitcoin into a supported wallet.

I seem to have a different result. Search "labour manifesto", "conservative manifesto", "conservatives manifesto" or "libdem manifesto" displays an advert for the Tories, nothing I've tried results in an advert for Labour. I guess it's not a huge surprise however because Labour have a significantly smaller budget that the Tories, it's amazing what they have achieved with far less money.

Claims this is false, fake or crazy always ignore the fact that it is better to risk the humiliation of being proven wrong than being proven right.

If he's proven wrong, then he's a crazy conspiracist, but if he's proven right, then what does that say about people who doubt him and what they are therefore supporting?

I'm in the UK and so some services are tailored for the UK users, and I know some intelligence gathering is done through GCHQ on behalf of the U.S. Whenever I ask, it never understands "C.I.A", and it denies reporting to the "Central Intelligence Agency", however "Does Amazon report to the Central Intelligence Agency?" does get it shut down.

This is a great review, but there is one thing unclear. Search the page for "8GB" and you'll find the paragraph that seems to compare the FireTV (not the FireTV stick) with the Roku2, but that's misleading when the rest of the article is only about the smaller devices.

Personally I'm needing to buy a new TV and am trying to decide between a nearly new "dumb" TV plus one the stick reviewed above, or a Smart TV. I think for games, I'll do it properly and get a games console. Of the three above, it seems like the Amazon FireTV stick is best, except it relegates third party apps like Netflix.

I think it should be easy as tapping a button. You type the title, tap one of three buttons (perhaps located close to the title box), then save. No scrolling through tags, projects, dates or minutes to get the right one.

It's good point Jeffrey, but due date and priority are not mandatory, and duration shouldn't be either, but I suggest short, medium or long to keep it quick and simple. I think tasks with no duration would be just treated like tasks with no scheduled date, and put into a 'someday' list.

I've just used Smart Schedule in the web app for several tasks and it works well, however it will be better if users could estimate a task duration and then the Smart Schedule algorithm gives priority to quick tasks over the big long tasks, or prioritise the long tasks first if the user prefers that instead. However, rather than ask users how long a task takes and to keep thing simple, it would be good to use just three options: short, medium or long time.

Finally in the unlikely event that all tasks for the day are completed by a user-defined time for day's end, then how about auto-rescheduling tasks for the current day so as to free up more time later in the week?

What?! Noooo. :( I just heard about this after looking for help with a bug preventing me from emailing an article to myself even though my address is configured in the settings. Now how am I supposed to do it - copy and paste?! I'm just having a go with my copy of Reeder on Mac, I want to view all articles in the same feed to find the article I want to email, but I can only do this in Mr Reader.
