The Arab technique of mixing military and civilian assets to provide military cover is well documented.
If Hamas or Hezbollah were able to use heavy bombs, they
1- would use them as much as possible
2- would specifically target Israeli civilian assets
3- would at least give the IDF the opportunity to attack pure military targets.
And Israel would still keep their military and civilian assets as seperate as possible and you would still be a quisling anti-semite.

You seem fixated on the idea of pretending that the unequal positions of Hamas vs. Israel somehow gives them a pass on being the terrorists they are.
It does not.
If Hamas had F-15's then Israel could shoot them down or attack their bases.

I don't think the comparison holds up. Israel has been forced into endless rounds of cease fires for many decades. The Palestinians have always been left standing.
Now Hamas and Hezbollah are backed by Iran. They are gradually gaining conventional strength with which to challenge israel.
A true victory by Israel - one that shatters the infrastructure of the Arabs- and breaks their will is the only thing that offers real peace.

Good.
The only thing that has kept the extremists in power has been their ability to set the pace of the conflict.
They have chosen to keep the pace very slow, and wait for demographics to yield a future advantage, or a powerful backer like Iran to develop a WMD.
Israel should strike hard and win decisively, forcing a capitulation by the Arabs and building the only lasting foundation for a lasting peace: clear victory.

I think he is wise to focus his efforts on supporting rather than distracting. If he ran he would just be feeding his ego. If he backs someone and they win, he could be an important part of the leadership.
And reading what he is writing, I could see him easily going for McCain. McCain is the independent thinker in this race, not Obama. Obama is the machine politician, offering nothing but party orthodoxy and predictable disreputable lefty dogma.
