For a lighter and simplified setup, could I record 2-lavs Rx into this Zoom F3 on my body, then hardwire lineout to camera for scratch and easy sync in post?

Re: http://blog.mikeambs.com/post/9915062575

hey, i used a java applet called mousepath.jar, but it looks like they turned into an app now so it's probably better now. http://iographica.com/

Re: mills

i wish, but i'll try. this is the first tangent that popped in my head:
http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: mills

i think you just saved my day.

Re: hacking the marathon

two simples tips that pay off later in the 20s:

. take it super easy in the first 1.5 miles. it's really easy to be excited by the rush and energy of the group. force yourself to slow down.

. treat the bridges as a rest, ie don't try to accelerate and overexert yourself on them like the person next to you.

kill it!

Re: The Creative Phase

But obstructing this phase is the ever present conflict between form and function. Obviously, tech startups are heavily biased towards function, which downplays the type of creativity you describe. it's evident in the jobs they offer, the pay they award, the roadmap they chart, thinking along the lines of "we'll do a proper design once we get to a million users." But beyond simply design, this utility-bias often squeezes out important elements of branding and storytelling that the best startups have done from the start, e.g. tumblr, etsy, vimeo. And more often than not, the typical startup is very slow to define their user, to engage or entertain, or connect through stories. I'm an advertising creative and while I adore and celebrate startups, there's typically no place for me in them unless its my own.

Re: http://randallopry.com/post/1403206947

i like to play all of these experiments at the same time (i dont recommend it).

Re: http://hudsn.org/post/1242372877

yeah, quite cool.

oh by the way, your poster just arrived. free for a delivery after work? i'll be not far from your office...

Re: Everyone's A VC

for revenue sharing of ideas alone, you might be interested to check out this ad agency: Victors & Spoils

http://www.victorsandspoils...

Re: http://randallopry.com/post/1060202618

ridiculous!
