After reading the headline and the article, one can only conclude the writer is totally clueless or is ODing on the Bish Club Kool-Aid.

How many hundreds of thousands of children and vulnerable adults have been raped/sodomized/molested by predatory clergy who, instead of being turned into police by miters and red hats, were transferred and transferred and transferred to avoid prosecution, only to rape/sodomize/molest again and again and again.

And for any poor "isolated" priest who can't stand the heat, get outta the damned kitchen!

I'm a firm believer that Oklahoma isn't the only state to drop the ball on hate crimes. Mind you, I'm not defending my state because it is one of the reddest states in the United States, but I think its important to note the federal hate crimes law would send a message nation wide, and that message absolutely NEEDS to be sent to not only Oklahoma, but Wyoming, Georgia and the rest of the United States...

The scandal of priests and diocesan employees embezzling money is at the same stage the predatory clergy child rape scandal was in about 2002. The stealing is pervasive (check out www.bishop-accountability.org for verification), and the Bish Club is once again digging into their bottomless pockets to cover up yet another scandal to maintain their image and luxury livestyle.

This is the crux of everything that is wrong with the USA. TV ads cost a goddamned fortune to make and buy air time. The only possible way to run for any office is to drop millions or billions into the pockets of the television industry. It takes four years to amass that kind of money. And the only source for that money is the large corporate world. Rahm will fight public option because big HMO's are dropping 1.6 million bucks a day into the campaign coffers of the "right" people. That's the bottom line, folks. It's all about whoring. You get paid to get fucked. The only real difference is that the Clintons and Obamas of this nation kiss you while they fuck you.

Emmanuel doesn't want a public option. That would stop $$$$$$$$$$$ campeign money from these corporations. The fact that passing it would bring in many, many votes seems irrelevant.
