After reading the headline and the article, one can only conclude the writer is totally clueless or is ODing on the Bish Club Kool-Aid.

How many hundreds of thousands of children and vulnerable adults have been raped/sodomized/molested by predatory clergy who, instead of being turned into police by miters and red hats, were transferred and transferred and transferred to avoid prosecution, only to rape/sodomize/molest again and again and again.

And for any poor "isolated" priest who can't stand the heat, get outta the damned kitchen!

I've been saying that for weeks. Rahm REALLY doesn't want it; he's thinking of all the corporate cash that will dry up for 2012. And go to the other side. Money is more important than happy voters? Whatever.

There won't be any public option if Rahm has anything to say about it. Too many promises to big money groups to squelch it. Snowe is a godsend for them.......unless Dems have their spines surgically replaced before the vote. Lotsa luck on that one.

The scandal of priests and diocesan employees embezzling money is at the same stage the predatory clergy child rape scandal was in about 2002. The stealing is pervasive (check out www.bishop-accountability.org for verification), and the Bish Club is once again digging into their bottomless pockets to cover up yet another scandal to maintain their image and luxury livestyle.

Emmanuel doesn't want a public option. That would stop $$$$$$$$$$$ campeign money from these corporations. The fact that passing it would bring in many, many votes seems irrelevant.

Hmmm, how did he avoid having the required Democrat operation: having one's spine surgically removed?

For us tin foil hat-wearing conspiracists, this seems to be the smoking gun that Trig is not SP's child, but Bristol's. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, just who is Trig's biological father? Not necessarily LJ. They were "dating" only a very short time before we think she got pregnant (not the several years the family contends), and she was involved with Johnnie Chandler immediately before that. Considering the wild partying and drugging she and her friends were doing, wouldn't surprise us none if it's someone else entirely.

The administration made a deal with Big Pharma. I'm now beginning to think the administration has made a deal with the insurance companies not to promote a public option. Or keep it out of the final bill altogether.
