Yes, I loved the commentary on your video. Very fun. I think the language video is one of the most clever ones I have ever seen. It's very good.

Yes, I found out about it last Friday when the official google blog announced it. I thought it very odd since 22 other states have already done this and two other states are doing this (this go around) aside from California. I bet that a lot of their investors are in California and either embrace a gay identity or support gay efforts.

I'm going to have to pray about it. It's served me well, ..perhaps we
can pray for the people at Google, that perhaps someone influential
might be touched by someone dealing with this issue personally, and
get their company to withdraw their support.

The eMail thing is the hardest for me to untangle from. I've had business cards printed up and business contacts reach me through that eMail address, etc. I love a lot of their products because they've really produced some wonderful apps. but it kills me to be aligned in the light of this news.

Just got an eMail news item forwarded to me by my brother that I thought you might be interested in seeing if you hadn't already.

Google opposes anti-gay marriage measure.

Really frustrates me because I use google for so much and I'd like to untangle myself from them in the light of this news.

Do you know the panda joke? It's one of my favorites.

A panda walks into a bar orders a sandwich which he eats with much gusto then stands up and shoots the waiter. The bartender, all perturbed asks the panda, "Why did you do that?"

The panda says, "I'm a panda."

"So?!"

"So look it up," the panda says and then leaves.

The bartender googles on his cell phone the word panda and it says about pandas, "Eats shoots and leaves."

Totally agree on the not leading others to temptation. The Jacob story is a great metaphor too.

I liked Riddick a lot better than the first movie that I can't remember the name of. Lots of great symbolism ... and cgi :).

I've always liked the cliche, "Garbage in, garbage out." But, as you note, Randy, each believer needs to be aware of what their weaknesses are as some things are temptations for one but not temptations for another. Likewise we should be aware of what is a temptation for our brothers and sisters and not lead them there.

But I think the Jacob principle applies to all the programing that features violence, promiscuity, and the sin of homosexuality, whether through blatant sex or through "Hey, see their normal in every other way" methods. I'm talking about how Jacob bred spotted animals by keeping before them the streaked and spotted branches. So they bred what they saw. That Biblical story often makes me wonder how it applies to us and what media we watch.

"The Chronicles of Riddick" is one of my favorite sci/fi stories too, btw.
