I've been to all of those places (except the Pasadena Whole Foods) and I totally agree! I love CA!! Glad you had a great time. My favorite part was figuring out a juice slavery equivalent in Pasadena ;) LOL

Re: Invasion of the body snatchers

Congratulations again Shannon Marie! But I think it's because many people (Elements for Life distributors as well as other passionate raw foodists) truly believe in the power of superfoods. So it's possible that the intention is pure, but it's coming across the wrong way. David's upcoming book is called "Superfoods: Food and Medicine of the Future" and so I'm thinking this misunderstanding or connotative gap is going to close in the future. I will definitely bring up the issue on the next training call we have though--thank you!

Re: Elements for Life [Raw Product Review]

Hi Michelle,
It seems this way because it's not exactly legal for distributors to tell people exactly how to take it and what it will do. Distributors can only offer suggestions and personal experience :) However, David Wolfe's upcoming superfood book is going to be a major tool used by the company when it's out.

Re: Elements for Life [Raw Product Review]

What an awesome review! And thanks so much for the mention :) I am really enjoying working with this company! Keep the great info coming. Here is an article Mike Adams did on MLMs not to long ago that you might want to check out too if you'd like to read another non-biased review: http://www.naturalnews.com/024514.html
Good point about more recipes and uses being needed. I made a bunch of youtube videos in my kitchen using the superfoods in recipes like this Cacao Maca Ice cream here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWs9L2NHv3w

Re: Have a Transformational New Year!

Awesome! I pour it into glass bottles and restructure it using this "sounds from sun" mp3 I have. It's pretty neat and changes the texture of the water. It's definitely not raw, I know. I think it is a step in a positive direction though. You're probably right about all the anti-oxidants being cooked out of there, unfortunately. Too bad!

Re: Question of the Year:

Wow. I've never read his book so I am not sure. One diet (even a raw vegan food diet) does not fit all though so it's really hard to compare them all!
I wouldn't recommend looking into your own blood at home. Not only would you have to buy the equipment, but you'd have to be really educated on how to interpret everything you see. This takes a lot of experience! I'd recommend just paying the $50-75 is costs to get a live blood cell reading :)

Re: Question of the Year:

Planning is definitely necessary when you make the decision that you want to eat a healthy raw-vegan diet. Embrace planning and buy some easy to tote raw bars, nuts and seeds, dried fruit, sea veggies like dulse, etc. Keep some stuff in your work drawer and in your purse. Make salads in batches two days a week. Put snack foods in portion sized baggies once a week. You're going to do awesome!

Re: Question of the Year:

Thanks Raene. I'll be writing about this in the future but I feel that if you're eating a lot of green foods such as leafy greens, some spirulina, and maybe some other superfoods like goji berries, you're definitely going to be getting all the minerals. Also, how do you feel when you eat a variety of raw foods in a variety of colors? If you don't feel at your best, maybe you have some old stuff in you that you need to detox out before all the nutrition of the foods can be properly assimilated. Hope this helps!

Re: Question of the Year:

Paulina, have you also checked out this post?: http://www.gorawchicago.com/how-to-go-or-stay-r...
