i feel like they just conceded PA. Obama was strong already here and with Biden i think it locks up PA.

Where does this help McCain? What swing state? Maybe Missouri? Maybe Georgia? But to win, McCain has to win NV, Colorado, Ohio, Michigan. Does Palin help there?

What i dont get about that is what states this helps him in. Assuming he still loses all kerry states he basically has to win every other state. And iowa and NM are leaning strongly for Obama. I dont see this helping him in either state.

I dont see it helping in Michigan, NV, anywhere in the Northeast or in Virginia. Am i wrong?

It also seems like this concedes PA, especially with Biden on the Dem ticket.

Is he just shoring up states he would have won anyway? I do not get it.

Furthermore, its reflections on McCain could be a disaster.

McCain is a 72 year old man and he's put Sarah Palin, a completely unknown and untested, 44 year old politician from Alaska, a heartbeat away from running the White House. Before her short stint as gov, Sarah Palin was the mayor of a town with fewer people than there are students in my school district. Is Sarah Palin going to formulate a plan for the war in Iraq? In Afghanistan? Is she going to author the economic plans we need to compete with China? Is she going to stare down Vladimir Putin if need be? This is a deeply troubling decision for the future of the United States.

ironically, if he wins CO and NV, he dont need Ohio, VA or FL. But seriously, if that speech didnt change minds then I'm missing the boat on absolutely everything. That was a complete repudiation to everything modern Republicans stand for.

Obama ran a rhetorical tank over Bush/Cheney. then got out and kicked em in the stomach.

If not, it's romney.

not great news. i'd expect colorado will swing Obama but it hasnt so far.

That said, a win in NM and Nevada ends mccain. That said, this poll seems an outlier. That said, it's time Obama gets a bounce.
