Thanks man, it'll be worth the wait for both myself and the people looking for new tracks.
In comparison, all the deals that faded away into nothing, with empty promises, were done fast.

So this is different for certain, I had to work for it, but the platform will be the best I could get.

I had my time getting loads of stuff on credit, so this is my punishment! It's agony, death by slow gear lust....

I hope your own project is making some headway too, its defintely hard the way things are at the moment. No question about that. So much change and flux, where the fuck do you head next? Keep on fighting.

I'm afraid I still have at least 60 with the same format, despite the upgrade.
My home page isn't even included in the google index anymore, it's been dropped.

Since I have just 2 pages listed as duplicate content, and 94 already blocked by robots.txt,which is already too many, I can't add another 60 pages. It's pretty clear I'm being penalised for having too many, so an extra 60 isn't a minor thing. I can fix the 94 but have no way to get rid of the others.

All the urls have /{{ disqus_url }} in brackets, and are all 404 errors, over 100.

If you want to be penalised by Google,which i have been, for restricting too much via robots.txt... then I guess you can try that one.

My website dropped off google like a stone when I tried to fix things by restricting that many urls.
Pretty clear robots is only for a few fixes, not ones as large as this.

I usually only get anonymous flaming arseholes, screw them! Yeh, would you believe I'm STILL waiting, but the lawyer has done his bit, the contract is good with some minor changes. Just waiting for Satamile now.

But it's a painful wait. You'll be pleased to know I got some good new equipment plans for the next year, so watch out for a completely new studio set up.

Since my label is a well established and successful outfit in San Francisco, and I'm getting long term support, I'm likely to be in LA in the near future.

People really should read what I write here and understand a few things before they try to be clever.

Oh and to add about Film, Music or any other way of making money through your art. There are thousands of ebooks, guides out there, it is a very big way for people to make money (leech off you) on the internet, EVEN if what is in that book isn't that great.

You will find the marketing and the sales letter are very long, and are designed to hit certain triggers to make you buy it. (scarce, limited)

The product is usually thought of AFTER the campaign has been built. There is a lot of bull written about how indie artists can make it on their own, usually by people who profit from it. There is also usually something else going on that you don't hear about, good management, promo, connections etc.

So take what you read with a pinch of salt, if it smells bad it probably is.
Look at how much time in hours you spend doing promo on the web, is it worth it? What's the return on your time? If you're not getting results it has to change, believe me I've read and tried many things, buts what's nuts is sending out demos still actually works and some labels still have better marketing skills and fan bases than I will ever build on my own.
