It just feels weird talking to your phone :-) I've just started using voice input now because if I leave my finger on the button to long voice input pops up.

I thought it was cool how it demonstraed the actual sounds for you allowing you to select the appropiate one. No phonetics required :-)

I think it would be cool on the Kindle if you could print out the book jacket with maybe any notes made whilst reading. You could then put them on a shelf :-)

When travelling I can really recommend the app maps.me which stores whole countries on your device before you leave. The routing etc is superb and the detail on the OSM maps it uses is excellent. Certainly on the iPhone the GPS works without data.

When in Quito Ecuador a few years ago most of the city was closed to vehicles on a Sunday. What joy to see kids etc biking, skating etc down the highways it was a city transformed http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
In Germany a few years later I happened upon an autobahn that had been closed to traffic - just amazing to see thousands of folks biking & walking on it.
These events are so wildly popular it makes you wonder why the car lobby is so powerful :-(

Seems pretty identical to the new Google calendar app on the iPhone - it misses the feature that would set an alarm to tell you when to depart from where you are now :-)
