What this guy is sayin is that the recruits that we will get in the future are going to be higher quailty than we have had in the past with Coach Knight. The reason is because Coach Knight had a system and he recruited by his system not by national rank or popularity. That is what he is saying when the Indiana Basketball as we know it is gone. I totally disagree that we will not be an elite team in the future. Coach Crean is turning this program in the right direction with his recruiting skills, which are different than that of Coach Knight.

Kicking him off the team is simply an emotional response. The kid still isn't used to Big Ten play and how physical it is. This is his first year in the Big Ten guys, a 1-2 game suspension is fine with me, just something that makes him thin twice.

Mr. Dumes should be kicked off the team. This whole season we have seen his attitude. This is just the icing on the cake for me. Even if he is our leading scorer, we play better without him. The whole first half we hung with MSU. As soon as he came in, in the second half we began to fade. Either he changes fast or he is done with the team for this year and the years to come.

i gotta few ideas on how to win games:
1. do not let dumes and jones handle the ball. in jones first min of the game he had 4 straight turnovers. along side him dumes gave it away about 3 times. accounting for almost half the turnovers for the whole team.
2. bring roth off screens to give him open looks rather than giving it to him with the clock running down at mid court. he is a good shooter and shooters need to shoot.
3. block out!!! we give too many second chance points.
4. hit free throws. its 15 feet away and you are wide open there is no excuse to be less than a 80% free throw shooter.

I agree this blog is negative. Everyone needs to remember this is a brand new team. It could always be worse, we could still have Mike Davis.

Daniel Moore is smaller and less athletic than other d-1 players, And yes there are a few times when dribbles into places he shouldnt, but i have also seen dumes and jones do the exact same thing more often and lose the ball. Moore has more knowledge on how to distribute the ball around and possibly getting a better shot for one of his teammates on the floor. Yes he is not a scorer but when he handles the ball and gets fouled, from what I have seen, hits most of his free throws. Which is a change of pace from most of the team. With the exception of last nights game, which was AWESOME. I think he is doing a great job considering he is a walk-on freshman. GO HOOSIERS!!!!

Even if we did lose, it wouldnt be an upset. yes we are a big ten school, but we are not ranked.
