The theme that I use is actually a git repository, which I "fetched" into my local environment. When I deploy to my remote environment, git sees this as a submodule and does not push the files out. How can I solve this so that I can locally keep in sync with my theme repository, and then push everything to my production environment?

My Nexus 4 now gets very very hot, the battery lasts less than half a day and the phone feels very slow and unresponsive.

I believe a bigger problem than posting content is managing contacts. People will connect with you on the "wrong" account, and you end up with your friends spread out all over the place, making Google+ so much harder to use.

That is also a big problem for me... I would love to use Google+ more as I quite like it, but I have four accounts in it and it's become a big mess. I know a lot of other people have this same problem, in fact I was talking just today with a friend who is up to 6 accounts and increasing...

Thanks Peldi. I am sort of on the other side of the spectrum, entering a market that has a bunch of well established competitors, though none with the value proposition that we are bringing to the market. In that light, what are good ways to sell good usability and customer service? How do you communicate to your leads that these are your strong points, rather than just abundant features?

These days there are lots and lots of products for wireframing, and many of them incorporated the sketching style made popular by Balsamiq. How do you try to differentiate in what has become a crowded market? How far does being a pioneer get you?

Hi Peldi. You built Balsamiq on top of a closed platform, and one which is generally considered to be on the decline (though reports vary). Did this bring about any limitations? If so, which were/are particularly bad for your business, and what are your plans to mitigate this?

Can you apply the Hook model to a subset of users? IE, travelers may not book vacations often, but travel agents do. In this case can you apply the model, and are there any differences in how you would apply it?

I'm not sure if I'll be able to join the live Q&A, so I'm posting this well in advance. You have some interesting posts about investors. Do you think it's possible to compete in a fast-growing space working part-time in a product, knowing that you are up against more established companies? And in your experience, will an investor consider funding something that is being worked on as, essentially, a side project?

Yes, and after taxes the price will go to $107-%112. Hardly brings it up to $ 200... Plus, you know how much of what you're paying is taxes, a luxury Brazilians don't have.

Yes, but the price difference mentioned in the article for the UK are all _before VAT_. It's US$900 more expensive + VAT.

Testei e achei bem bacana, uma ferramenta simples que funciona muito bem apesar de não a ter testado ainda "em produção". O site também está bem caprichado, parabéns Célio e obrigado pela visita!

Minha única consideração: pelo menos no Windows 7, o ícone da bandeja do sistema fica escondido por padrão quando o pomodoro está em execução, tornando mais difícil o acompanhamento do pomodoro. Embora eu possa configurar o botão a sempre aparecer, talvez você possa investigar se tem uma maneira de tornar isso o padrão. Mas no geral, excelente ferramenta!

Não tenho dúvida de que ambos os modelos são importantes e complementares. A escolha por um modelo ou outro dependerá do momento em que se encontra a iniciativa de e-commerce, da disponibilidade de investimento por parte do lojista, e de outros fatores que dependem do modelo de negócio de cada iniciativa. Até mesmo a idéia de que intermediário é para pequenos volumes e gateways para volumes grandes pode ser falha - temos visto grandes sites de compras coletivas usando intermediários, e gateways oferecendo planos pré-pagos bastante acessíveis até para o pequeno lojista. Qualquer que seja a escolha, é importante conhecer as particularidades de cada modelo e escolher um fornecedor de qualidade reconhecida no mercado, como é o caso do i-Pagare ;)

I see your point, but I guess we're just getting used to some level of tracking in just about everything we do in our computer. Things like Chrome OS will make this desktop/web distinction even harder. Add mobile to that (where your location can also be determined very precisely), and we're doomed :)

On another note, interesting to see news about desktop software... Apart from Soluto, things were pretty much dead in the desktop lately. Not to mention them being Brazilian, but I'm biased there because I'm Brazilian myself.
