Ha! I barely know either. I always stick with the first track in the menu, but since Hong Kong swayed between national dialects AND everything is dubbed anyway no matter the language, it hardly matters in the end. Fidelity is close enough on each track to make noticeable difference, but I also only briefly swapped between them to check. Safe bet? Mandarin usually syncs up, and won't make the post-dub obvious.

I mean, if you want a plot recap, that's available a lot of places. There are certainly other ways to look at it, but I prefer keeping things concise and to the point.

The early ones most likely aren't. Short of re-rendering the entire movie, there's not much that can be done for them on 4K. Modern stuff like Toy Story 4 is something else entirely.

I gave Bowman's a spot check and I found myself getting caught up with it. It's a great track that mixes production details with the religious aspects. I'll be headed back in to hear the whole thing when I get the time.

Not much can be done other than some wider compression parameters. Given the movie's budget, it's not unexpected to see those inconsistencies. It looks as good as it ever will most likely.

Yup. Same thing with Shadow in the Cloud recently. Redbox has them for like a 90 day window or something and they'll be widely available.

It didn't bother me, or think it was worth a mention. You can always hit pop up menu to get rid of it. I appreciate it in the sense of making things more accessible. I certainly know people who don't know their way around a disc menu, but can use Netflix. This just brings things closer to that on a disc.

As someone who didn't see this way back when and is totally separated from the marketing promises other than the title, it still works on it own. The kills are great no matter where they take place and when he DOES get to New York? It's so much stupid fun. I'll watch this over Jason Goes to Hell any day. That's my low point.

I don't know for certain. Warner doesn't note anything on their press release. My gut says it's still an upscale because it was a 2K finish initially, but some of the sharpness/detail really says 4K to my eyes.
