Louis, I know you are excited about this new in between product market as am I. I tend to take the wait and see approach as a possible consumer in this device market.

You may be right having seen the Crunchpad first hand. You seem to be making a qualified opinion about which you will choose. I simply think we need to wait and see.

When both devices hit the market I can not wait for you to post again on this subject. Once we know specs, pricing, and availability I would love to hear your thoughts again.

I am excited about these shiny products as well I just thought this post was a tad premature. Keep up the good work Louis!

First, thanks for the mention. Excellent post. :)

Second, its always very interesting to see how you are perceived by your peers. I would mostly agree with your assessment of my FriendFeed style. I would agree and place myself in the Digest box most of the time. But, you are correct that I do write from the historian point of view. Perhaps I need to be a little crankier and trend toward pundit.

I do not know for sure but I bet it has something to do with Google Reader's
CSS or how Feedburner creates my feed. The Fieldset isn't a perfect
solution I just like the simplicity of the coding.

Mark, just wanted to reiterate that you were trying to solve the problem of the content originator getting credit for the content. Perhaps the FF devs will help with this in the future.

I suggest some way of linking to the original posting by the author. All the re-shares would point (link) at the original.

"use the service however you want to, but if you're a jerk about it, you'll
suffer the social consequences one way or another." That is exactly what I
mean.

They have increased by about 20 to 25 subscribers. I do not expect them to go back down but that kind of depends on me.

I realize to keep an audience requires effort via interesting content.
