The Yerba Buena chapter of CNPS (California Native Plant Society) has an anti-immigrationist on their board. His name is Jake Sigg. He works with CAPS, designated by the SLPC as a hate group. He also often works with the city of San Francisco and appears to be someone looked to when making key decisions about public parks.

When I see mention of CNPS now, and especially the Yerba Buena chapter, I think first about racism. I hope these two photographers are aware that CNPS and its Yerba Buena chapter are in collusion with a racist. I hope they themselves are not racists. I don’t know what to think anymore.

I've been reading your Tumblr today and all you've been through. You are lovely. I hope you realize that you really have already achieved what you wanted to achieve: happy and healthy (despite not having a job right now and not being at the goal weight you set for yourself). You don't need that tiny little goal weight. You're everything you need to be right now. :)

I'm okay with Oinkster. When I can handle that much fatty food in one sitting, I've enjoyed the pastrami sandwiches.

You're kind of right with the food wasteland nomer for Eagle Rock. After all, The Bucket has been around for how long? And seems to have now expanded? And almost everything on the menu is absolutely soused with *garlic salt*! Garlic salt! I hadn't thought about garlic salt since the late seventies until I went to The Bucket.

But I do think there's enough decent around ER that it's not as horrible as living in, oh, say, the Kendall region of Miami, FL.

ok, but about Spitz: a lot of places have sweet potato fries and sp fries are yummy. But Spitz now has a "street-style" version of their fries. When you get this and ask for sp fries instead of reg fries, you have a really, really excellent sweet and salty and spicy and creamy and crunchy indulgence. :)

when i was a girl, before we moved into the city (when i was 7), my bike was one of my best friends. I called her Rose, too, because she was red. A red Raleigh. She was beautiful. I rode her everywhere. (And got grounded from bike-riding *twice* for being seen on the busy main thruway.)

When we moved into Philadelphia, the bike went into the basement. I kind of want to say that my soul went with her, but that's a little too much even for me. But maybe it did. I saw her once a few years later, next to the furnace, grimy and almost unrecognizable.

I liked reading this. Thank you. :)
