Over and over again I hear this myth - and see everyone just accept it as if it were a natural law.

And, in spite of this - as a middle school teacher who encounters hundreds of boys day in and day out throughout the year - I know that boys have just as much (and in many cases more) empathy than girls!

I would add that the type of empathy and role-playing you're going to see boys engage in with "dolls" is the exact same type they already engage in with action figures (also sometimes referred to as "dolls" - because that's what they are!).

Let's quit acting like boys are broken and start treating them like what they are: not girls.

Re: Shelter from the Living Dead

Nice, and some great commentary there! The only reason people invariably shy away from buildings is that there is no real escape plan. Once you're in a building that is zombie occupied, you're in it for the long haul. Which is fine if a helicopter happens along - but what if you run out of supplies before help comes? Basically, in a tall building you're trapped.

Re: Things Steve Jobs didn’t say

I'm fairly certain that he didn't mention tethering because Phil Schiller talked about it already at the release of the previous version of the iphone. It's something that has already been available outside of the US, and nothing has changed from Apple's standpoint - they've had tethering for a year now.

Talking about tethering now, from Apple's standpoint, is probably a bit like touting the iPhone 4's ability to cut, copy and paste.

Re: Lisa Taylor, Stan Wojewodski, Jr, and Isabella Russell Ides

Hey Isabella!
