It's worth looking into step-up / step-down rings - the Raynox lenses are 43mm, so they can go to a filter mount, which makes them a lot easier to handle.

I do not plan to have more than 3 lenses, but I'm not prepared to pay $$$ for a 50mm 1.8 or any of the f4 Zooms.
The Sony lens roadmap does not give me any confidence that this will change.
Other than that I have compared ISO 6400 files from the Sony and Fuji, and I can't see the FF advantage there. As the Fuji images look wayyyy more pleasing to _my_ eyes, too I'll stick with Fuji.

However - couldn't you modify the Classic Chrome option in Lightroom to work for the X-E2? That would be good enough for me ;)

Agree with Andy below - OM-D is a great piece of gear, but controls are fiddly and too small for me. GX7 feels a lot better in my hands.

I sooooo wish that was true - Had an X-E1, then an OM-D, then bought an X-E1 because of those promises. Your mileage may vary, but the AF way WAY to slow for what I shoot (like, my kids not in a studio ;) ).
Would prefer the image quality over anything else APS-C or mFT, but I need a half decent AF, too.

If I could make the X-E1 focus in a reasonable time it would be a no brainer.

As I can't it's the Panasonic GX7 + the 25mm f1.4 for me - best combo I ever used.

Before you buy DxO please make sure that the trial version does EVERYTHING you need it to do, I had terrible experiences with DxO changing the way they integrate with Lightroom between version and not reading NEF files converted to DNG in Lightroom. They didn't want to refund, and their EULA technically does not allow you to re-sell the license... just a word of caution, I'm happy I got out of it with only slightly less than $100 'damage' (they also dropped the price by 50% just after I bought...).

Unfortunately that's not about "industry best practice" - in most countries of the world, this is a punishable offense and violation of data privacy law.

I know this needs to be kept in perspective, but address book data _at the very least_ contains personal data (by default) which is subject of law, most of the time it may contain even more sensitive information in extra fields. I know people that keep bank account data here...

OTOH, we need to pull Apple into this discussion. Other than Android, iOS allows access to address book data without previous user consent or even as much as a notification. There needs to be an official API that supports privacy compliant transfer, i.e. email hashes, plus a way to deny that kind of access.

The much deeper question is the implication of Facebook automatically recognizing my face and storing that information somewhere without me being able to even know about this.
Sure, I do not need to upload pictures of myself, but what if friends do that unbeknownst to me? Do I have to do a freedom of information act request to find out what they story about me? Where's the privacy setting to explicitly tell Facebook not to recognize me on ANY picture (I don't even have to have a Facebook account myself necessarily, and still they may tag me!)
