in Interesting: iPhone App: Crosswords on Webomatica
but the interesting thing I've noticed is: we always buy crosswords magazines when we want to stay far from our mobiles/computers/and so on..., so why would I order an app. like this? :P (but I'm a crosswords lover!)

I confess. I'm too young to know the film, and I haven't seen it before. But my father LOVES it!
And now I'm scared... :S

"Still, with 14 years and the money spent, I feel the tracks should have been better" I think you've said everything with this short sentence. I'm waiting for the album since 2000 but now, I confess, I don't have the same interest in GNR that I had when I was 14...

Hi, Hadar!
it's nice to read about your "unusual" weekend. And maybe sometimes it's essential for us to keep the laptop/PC off for a weekend (or just for one day!).
Moreover, I'm very keen to know what's Kung Fu Panga like! It's very good to see that the movie has a good message :)

hadar Hi. I should definitely turn the laptop off more often, for sure, but somehow, I doubt I will. ;-)

As for the good message in the movie, amen, as it's a little too rare in Hollywood productions nowadays...

Thanks for taking the time to comment! :-)

I agree with you both. Imagine yourself trying to organize your papers and docs only by putting a "mark" on them! What a mess! :S

in addition to, there's something intresting here http://www.wrequest.com/topic/gmail - a place where people request for changes in gmail.

"the movie evolves from somber sepia tones through awkward and then glorious color" I have to agree with you. It really makes the filme wonderful.
A peculiar guy? Have you read/watched "Perfume - the history of a murderer" before? Jean-Baptiste Grenouille is a peculiar guy :)

webomatica Yeah, I did watch Perfume - I really didn't like it! I'm sure the book was
much better.
Yes, the character in that film was definitely a peculiar guy, so much so I
wouldn't want to know him.

Howard Hughes is similarly odd, but at least he dated movie stars...

"Anyway, this will be my first live post with WLW (assuming it works). I don’t know (yet) whether it will be my last, but I suspect not." Well, I have to admit that I'm curious about your next post! LOL
I haven't a blog YET but I'm learning a lot reading other user's blogs and sites. Thank you for your tips here!

hadar LOL

Well, I've been busy, so I've missed a few blog ideas in the past week. Have to correct that, likely tomorrow. I'll still give WLW another try, since it wasn't any harder, and it does have the potential benefit of offline blogging. :-)

Now I am curious about this movie. It's been a long time since I'm not at the cinemas to see a movie like that!

webomatica This flick came out way back around 2002 or so - I'm pretty late to the
party. You can surely rent it as i did :)

papa Amanda, if you're in the U.S. (or can spoof a U.S. ip address), you can watch the full movie legally on hulu.com (limited commercial interruption):
http://www.hulu.com/watch/14177/28-days-later

Jason - the sequel is worth seeing even though Danny Boyle was not involved and it features a completely different cast. 28 Weeks Later is not as good as the original film, but at the very least it is very distinct from the original and explores a host of other themes (rather than just rehash). I'd liken it to the differences between Alien and Aliens (which isn't too far off since 28 Weeks Later presents what would happen if the U.S. military arrived and tried to manage the quarantine).

in Dolly Parton at Radio City Music Hall on Random Musings
I am a great fan also! Dolly is brilliant and I admire her work since I was very young.
I think I'll shiver just to see her and the band on the stage!!!
I really like those shows which start with only one musician playing solo.
See ya!

hadar Thanks Amanda. Obviously, we agree. The excitement that builds up from the solo musician, up to 12 people on stage playing/singing together (as was the case at Radio City), is pretty cool! :-)
