You get the feeling she has done this before to other foreigners. Very precocious by the looks of her manner. I like the link with background and foreground. I think portrait is the way to go when shooting people. You capture much more including body language, lighting. Landscape works for me when I do very tight closeups. Really good shot.

I never made it to Hoi An when I was there, wish I had, But I pretty much expected it to look as how you have captured it. I can smell the street odors and hear the people and children going about thair daily life. You have a good eye for capturing real life.

I have heard about the huge difference between these arab countries even though they are neighbours. Oman is one I would love to visit. And Yeman - both for their coffee...
Can't wait to see some of the photos from these places.

It's always good to stop and smell the coffee when travelling. Two years is a long time away from family. I'm an expat myself and alway try and make it back to my home country to catch up with family and friends every two years. I stay long enough for them to drive me crazy, then I leave again knowing that I won't miss them for another two years.
I'll be in the US next year, so if you are around my area - Florida it would be great to meet you.
