in Bad Money, Why Venture Capital is working wrong at Web Startups on web2.0flow - Irreverent by Nature
Maybe before you go to a VC group, you should exhaust your resources that are targeted specifically to startups. Sun Microsystems has a program called 'startup essentials' that offers discounts on x64 servers, free tech support and free events to meet 'missing pieces of your personnel' and we think thats a cool move to lend a hand from the get-go. I'd be interested in seeing a huge list sometime of all of the resources out there but you can start with this one: www.sun.com/startup

Jose E. I feel the same, you must try to keep Plastic before seeking for VC.

in 5 Marketing Tools Every Startup Should Use on Instigator Blog
Great list! We found a resource that was valuable to us-- it isn't so much marketing but nonetheless, Sun Startup Essentials Program was super beneficial. We got a huge discount on an x64 server, free tech support and help switching to Solaris. I'd highly recommend you check out www.sun.com/startup if you plan on growing over time!

in How To Ensure Your Startup Will Fail on How To Split An Atom
If you don't make use of the many resources out there that are designed with Startups in-mind, you'd fail too. Check out Sun Microsystem's Startup Essentials Program-- discounts on x64 servers, free tech support and more. They're just one of the many abundant resources out there. Good luck!
