the dude is my friend Dan. We used to collaborate when I was at SFAI. The first time I saw this for about 6 minutes I thought it was real and so sad.

P.S. I can't sleep.

dcorbet indeed it does steve... well, the first question anyway.

i do think it's a great idea - but i do wonder how lasting an effect
it will have. of course most artists would love the chance to get
exposure for their work - many others take the context that their work
is presented in as an integral part of the work, and some would find
this idea appalling.

still - it's a bit like stumble-upon in a way. maybe i'll fall over
some great artists that i may never have otherwise had the chance to
find.

and, about the curating... great that it's open. i expect that in the
future you'll have a quick function to switch to a new curated set if
the user is absolutely hating the art they see. particularly if you
get a big response from people wanting to curate.

congrats on getting it up.

Brian Goggin made that piece about 10 years ago? Good stuff.

Hey, glad you like this posters. One note, it's a collaborative piece by both Packard Jennings and myself.
