Good article. I agree with some of the myths, and disagree with the others. A lot of it revolves around how willing you are as a church participant to get involved, find relationships, and see beyond the lights, cameras, and action. There have been times in services that I've felt the entire production to be just that -- a production, but there have been other times where I knew beyond a doubt that it was true unfiltered worship. I feel like one of the team on IMAG, but don't feel any deep relationships in Life Group. It's just different things for all people, because a megachurch isn't a singular entity -- it's a collection of people from all walks of life trying to do life together and worship God, ultimately. Megachurches aren't bad, but they aren't perfect either.
