in The New Facebook. Why Do You Hate It? on Yoono Blog
Amen on the new facebook layout love! My only gripe with it is that because of all of the fancy AJAX stuff going on, it can run kind of slow at times - minor nitpick.
I like the ability to comment on individual items on your wall, that helps with keeping conversations in context.

in Meeting with great people in Austin on john erik metcalf
Hey John,
Wanted to let you know that these sorts of posts that you do (talking about who you met and what you talked about) are really interesting. It's cool to have this sort of open agenda/notes system (and I am sure it is useful so you have a good set of notes to go back to).
Note to self: Eat at Chez Nous - been wanting to for a long time.

in What Does Facebook Actually DO for Me on Chris Brogan
I agree with everyone else who says that they are there because that's where everyone else is - for me, I think it is my hub for interacting with most of my IRL friends - everything is aggregated in one place. As for all of the clutter, I don't have a cluttered profile - I like to think that the stuff I do have on there adds some sort of value to the conversation.

Is it bad that I almost wasn't surprised by this?
Though, it would have been a piece of work in and of itself to outsource some of these posts (the cold cure post comes to mind).

in Question about digital outreach on john erik metcalf
That is an interesting thought - wouldn't monitoring through social networking be problematic because as you say, our online experience mirrors our experience in the real world. After many tragedies everyone says they never saw the signs. Do you think they might be more visible online than in the real world?

in Reaching Inbox Zero on Chris Brogan
Inbox zero is pretty great, you just have to make sure that you're not overfiltering, causing you to spend all that time that you were spending in your inbox in lots of little side folders.

I have not seen that yet either, must be a staggered deployment like when GMail adds features...
