Ok, I'll volunteer to make you sad and represent all slow readers out there. I'm pretty sure I have never read an entire book in a day. I've also reread only two books in my life that I can recall, Catcher in the Rye and The Sun Also Rises.
Since "fired from a job" and "transported in an ambulance" are on the list (not skill based) I'll say that I have been temporarily stranded on a small island off of Hawaii and rescued by the Honolulu Fire Department after having managed to paddle out there with a group. We both know one other person who can put this on his list.
So what was the movie? Julie and I were just wondering when it would be safe to show the Wizard of Oz to our kids. I said 7 or so but she's not too sure with the prevalence of flying monkey neurosis in childhood.
skottk It was - believe it or not - Honey I Shrunk the Kids. There's a giant scorpion scene that terrified the little guy.
One boy or another has been terrified of movies that you'd never expect. Finding Nemo? Never saw anything after the sharks. Enchanted? Last hour the little guy was on my lap facing backwards.
