I needed to get a couch and because I like to spend as little as possible for things went surfing the net to compare prices. I came across the HR site and was really impressed with everything! I ordered a sofa in the pet care"" line and when it arrived I was just excited to put it together. I love the simple step by step directions with pictures and putting the sofa together was a snap!

Being single with no kids I can not answer any of your questions, but I have a useless item to add.

When I go to buy gifts for my friends (who have a ton of babies), it bugs me when they register for anything Baby Einstein. It is a wonder any of us learned to read, write, or add based on the way they market that crap.

Totally agree with you! I think the government knows about the abuse, but it is just so rampant that in order to investigate it would mean more government employees and thus more taxes.

I've been trying to avoid them and indeed have given up entirely on one blog but this is the third essay I've read online castigating Elizabeth Edwards for 'allowing' her husband to run.
Her husband's behavior was and, if the interview I saw is any indication, is politically and morally indefensible as is the behavior of the woman he choose to have an affair with. But Elizabeth Edwards? Please. A woman with two young children and stage 4 cancer did not humiliate herself and her husband by making his affair public?
Why not attack Hillary Clinton for enabling her husbands doglike proclivities throughout their pathetic sham of a marriage. Or the increasing numbers of political wives and former wives who have suddenly discovered that their husbands prefer to have sex with men? Why not chastise Laura and Barbara Bush and both of John McCain's wives? Why publically criticise a woman with 2 young children and stage 4 cancer and question why she didn't tell the world that her marriage was a sham and that, because of this, her husband wasn't qualified to have a political career?
I do not get it.

I have to agree with Robyn and Terrance. Those cutting down Master P have no facts at all. If so, where are they. I don't see where those of you talking poorly of his business siting any of your sources showing that Master P's business is a scam. It is sad how we cut down people. As mentioned previously, we all have heard of AMWAY, MARY KAY, AVON, and many other network marketing companies that have been around for years. I guess these are scams too! And, they have commercials on TV now to recruit. Just because one business did not work for one person does not mean it does not work. "Nothing works unless you do." Many people do not grasp this concept because they are not used to putting in the work.

Who said or where is it said that you can make money quick with Master P's business? No one can seem to site any sources. It's not a get rich quick scheme nor does he imply that. Then, some of you have the nerve to post your own business after cutting down someone else's business. Personally, it's a turn off!

How about...Stick to your business and let Master P, one of the richest men in the world, stick to his. If you don't like what he does then don't get involved. Matter of fact, is your business making the same money he currently makes? If the answer to this question is not yes, then you should be ashamed of yourself for speaking negatively about his. The time that you wasted bad mouthing this man could have been spent productively. Do your homework before you make the negative comments!

True enough avfguy, I think they intend you to use while simultaneously looking at the profile of a potential follow. But peoples followcost sometimes changes over time. I suggested to followcost that they just produce a grid of the followcost of *all* those I follow sorted Then I could look at the tweets of the top 10 or so easily and see if they were really worth all the bandwidth. A more neutral term for what he is calculating rather than annoyance is just bandwidth. Some things are worth the bandwidth somethings are not.

I feel that these girls are old enough and have enough life experience to know right from wrong to know what they did was wrong. They knew that there would be the possibility that they could be punished for it or they would not have driven her around and threaten her to not talk about it. So, that being said, they ALL should be punish to the most severe extent of the law. We have proof of the crime, because video doesn't lie, her injuries are consistant with what happened, and the attitude to which these girls showed at their arraignments, was just unbelieveable. The grandmother who wants someone to sit these girls down and talk to them...all I have to say to her, is the time to sit them down has gone....it is time to lock them up and let them cool their heels in jail. They think violence is the way to solve problems, let them see what happens when that is what you do. Put them in prison where they belong. All of them, no deals.

I'm a 24 year old Gen Y-er and I have to admit, twitter surpasses facebook in information share with regard to my choosen career path. If I hadn't decided or was not as interested in my area of concentration within my career path, I would probably not enjoy twitter as much. For me, twitter is a way to share article and information. Facebook is a way to share personal updates and opinions. If there were not articles or areas that sparked my interest professionaly, perhaps I would not be involved on twitter.

that is hilarious!

when Gavin was about 18 months, we couldn't get him to eat meat at all...nothing. Yet at any opportunity he could get, he'd try to steal some of the dogs' "lamb-and-rice" kibble. If I wasn't so concerned with how things would end up out the other end, I would've just let him eat it!

totally late to the party, but my guess is the MMR shot. While Cooper got through it like a trooper (just got a mild rash on his face and belly for a day or so), Gavin got the fever about 10 days or so after his vaccine. He had it for I think 2 or 3 days and it was just over 102 (but no rash). I hope it's just the shot and not anything else. Don't forget to get your flu shots...all three of you! :)

ouch! I hate baby bullies! We're never told which kids attacked ours (apparently my kids are tasty because Gavin was bit 5 times and Cooper twice...never broke the skin). I guess it's good because I would be one of those parents who confronts the other parents (who are probably already mortified their child bit someone) and tell them what a creep their kid is. It did make me feel better that all the biting was generally contained in the 12-24-month age group and that it always was a different child each time (not that would know what to say if there was a child that consistently targeted mine, but it seems that would be important to the school). I know one little girl in Coop's class is a serial pincher...just for the sake of pinching. Because of it, she spends a bit of time hanging out in a crib or in a chair until those pinchy feelings pass. I used to feel bad until she pinched me. :D

I hope Morgan's face heals quick...hope you didn't have pictures scheduled.:)

I love hearing the little ones try to talk at this age. Very very cute. Cooper does the sign language for "star" when I sing "Twinkle Twinkle" to him, and afterwards he claps and says "yaaay!"

And dude, I know this is like a week after you posted this, but on Friday was Cooper's surgery follow-up and due to some crusted-up blood left over from surgery in his left ear, we have had to start again on the drops for a week to head-off an infection and help loosen-up the stuff.

Hope the drops cleared things up.

Gavin did that too...Cooper has sort of combined the "drink" and the "eat" signs to make one overall sign for either, although if he's thirsty he'll say "dint" while doing the sign. Funny how they adapt their language so early.

I am so sorry this keeps happening to her (and to you!). It's so exhausting to feel like you just can't get ahead of those ear infections and those wicked fevers. I really hope this was just an odd fluke and she stays well for a long time afterwards.

oh fun! they all look like they're close to the same size (unlike when I met with an area blogger whose son is about 2 weeks younger than Cooper but is 7lbs heavier and 2-3 inches taller).
That's neat that you're in touch with several other women who had babies in the same month. :)

I've heard some good things about the soft-wax ear plugs and that it's not worthwhile to pay for the fancy custom plugs.

And no reason to not try practicing with earplugs in the tub or pool before her tubes...might get her to associate them with playtime in the water.

I'm jealous of your pediatrician's extended hours! nice!

Hope Morgan's starting to get better. I snuck into Coop's room for the homeopathic earache relief drops. Not sure the company is making them anymore, but they are Gentle Naturals Earache Relief drops (oral drops). And I noticed that my bottle is expired...a holdover from my older son. :)
I've heard good things about the Similasan ear drops (I love their pink-eye drops). I know with Gavin that when I didn't have the earache relief with us, I would use teething tablets because they still helped take the edge off and soothe general irritation (tablets and the oral earache drops had several of the same ingredients).
