Erykah is a True Artist. When I say those words, I mean an individual that expresses who they are in their entirety. She does is with soul, sophistication funk and TOTAL honesty. Erykah is a tremendous talent that stays in constant rotation in my life.

Mama's Gun was a work of genuis, I don't care what anyone says. To get that kind of depth, insight and truth into an album is a work of genius. "Orange Moon" is my absolute favorite from that album. "Master Teacher" and "It's All Me" are my faves from "New Amerykah".

I love all those films. You know, Sidney and Bill were a great team. Claudine is classic and it's my jam! I love that film to pieces. Purple Rain is def about great music and bad acting. Why does Clarence always have to play the crazy man though?

Awwwwww shoot! You did not post "Paper Thin." Lyte is my girl. Always has been and will be. People just don't even know how skilled she was. Folks talk about Salt n Pepa all the time, but Lyte brought the serious flow.

Tremendous artists that is for sure. First Born Second was such an incredible album. Ledisi is a star w/a voice that is so much about true musical interpretation.

I've always loved Johnny's voice. It was always strong and beautiful even when he was much younger. A man's voice. He had a duet w/Shanice called "Silent Prayer" that kicked ass.
