It is Twitterish, that's true. I wonder if it will take off. I prefer Twitter to Facebook and don't log on nearly as much as I used to. Twitter is so easy and straightforward, using it has become a pleasure. Okay, an obsession, but I love it.

SuperBoy, (ps) love the icon. I actually wasn't trying to promote my blog. I was interested in the fine folks at feast of fools and their liberal readership to consider submitting to my lil' essay contest. Hey, winners get free Bojamacakes (cupcakes) by one diva pastry chef delivered to their home.

Have a fabulous day,
Katie

So, we're twitdating. Now that I've discovered your site and how funny, irreverent and political it is, I will definitely be back. In fact, I think we should consider linkdating. What do you think?

If I may, I'd also like to turn your attention to a political contest I'm running w/a bit of an edge that your readers might dig. Perhaps you'll consider enterting and, or cross-posting? Spill.

Here's the link: McC**t Essay Contest

Regardless, I look forward to seeing you in the twit-blogosphere's respectively.

Great post.

I'm quite interested in the role social media is, and will continue to play in how writers/artists, etc., hock their wares and as convergence of traditional and new media flourishes.

You summed it up flawlessly for me (thanks) "Over time, social media won’t be clamoring for a spot at the table with television and interactive - it will be deciding the involvement of all the players"

Let's just break this down for a minute: I've read the instructions. An hour later, I come across the cock-t, I'm supposed to schlep home for a towel, hit a store for seed and race back to where I found said bird in the hopes *bird* is still there so I can gently place the towel in front of the bird? From a time/financial pov, it's much more convenient to just whack the bird and fedex it to him.

Oy vey, this is really too hilarious.

camera phone? that is too funny. we all knew that was going to happen. but camera phone?! love that it's on youtube. I agree, it is a sign of the times. the question is, will the networks run it? I don't think so. thoughts?
