The rental car numbers threw me off, I thought it was really cheap to rent a car, but apparently I am wrong!

I blame my lack of knowledge on the fact I have never rented a car before as I am not even of age to do so at about 21, lol.

Why do they make it so you have to be 23 anyways? Doesn't make sense!

The $300 a month extra is pretty steep, but you have to think it is necessary. I means look at what happens if you decide to leave in like a horribly not opportune month? He may be stuck on that apartment un-rented for a while when he could have had another 1 year + term already signed earlier.

I would say it all depends on what your goal is overall. If you want to live closer to your girlfriend and to work then renting is the better option. But, if you want to "settle down" and own a place after 8 years of renting or what have you then buy.

Your goals will push you in the direction you ultimately want to be. Renting will surely allow you to save more money as well, but does it matter? All comes down to a simple question Flexo, what do YOU want in your life?

Well made points, I could have highlighted the "entertainment" value of Mad Money more, if anything it is a good change up from the reading and straight seriousness. I still #10 is solid though and my personal favorite, but then again I am biased ;)
