QuickPwn puts my phone into Recovery Mode fine, but once it gets into Recovery Mode, "Wait for iPhone to connect in Recovery Mode" stays bold while the other steps stay light, and QuickPwn doesn't move onto the next step. I tried going onto the steps myself, without QuickPwn's prompting, and I get my phone into DFU mode. But QuickPwn doesn't react to this, and no matter how long I wait, nothing happens.

Right, I see. Occasionally this happens and we haven't really found a cause - it could potentially be certain USB chipsets etc., or a faulty iTunes install. Your best option (if changing USB port and reinstalling iTunes didn't help) is simply to use another Windows PC.

Hello Dev-Team,
I downloaded the Windows QuickPwn and tried to jailbreak my first generation iPhone on 2.2. I restored it to 2.2, and went through the QuickPwn process, but when I have to put it in DFU mode, QuickPwn just says "Preparing your device - Please follow the instructions above", and goes no further. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I've tried numerous times and they've failed each time. Thank you for your time.

Hi Braden, a little more info please. It should highlight the individual instructions that you are to follow - for example, the first one is that you must wait for the device to connect in Recovery mode. If it doesn't detect this, be sure that you've updated to the latest iTunes, and rebooted afterwards. Also, try changing USB ports.
