J'ai deja supprimé mon lecteur optique au profit d'un second HD. Par contre, j'aimerais bien savoir ce qu'ils prévoient pour le stockage (soit disant un SSD pour le boot).

Even if they wanted, making a new voice with Nuance takes weeks of recording (I've worked a lot with Nuance and text-to-speech systems). So, if they do, that means Steve would have already recorded its voice, but I don't think he wasted its last moments doing that.

If it's true, that would be a great update. Apple is generally very precise with it's iconography, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Nintendo has not the exclusivity of the physical control. And "being around for a long time" is your argument why Nintendo is invincible? You should better look at their depressing losses last quarter. They're losing money like crazy. When they ran out, it's over. That simple.

Nintendo lost 50% of their value on the market... in 6 months.

Just try Aside Magazine, an HTML5 apps and see how much it sucks on the iPad 2. HTML5 is far from being the promised silver bullet.

No, because they have mature tools. There is nothing for HTML5, developing for it is a chore.

No surprise. Nintendo is going to become like SEGA, who gave up making hardware and focused on making games for all platforms. SEGA hardware business was brought down by SONY PS2 at the time (their last gaming console was the Dreamcast).

Nintendo hardware business is all about handheld devices and iDevices have just taken its place. As a parent, how can you even consider buying a 3DS (a single purpose device) at the same price of an iPod Touch and close to an iPad.

They're done.

That's funny, I don't think Nokia would say the same thing if they had the same sales numbers Apple has with iTunes/Apps. Also, I don't think you can trust them as predicting the future, they're clearly not the right people.

I think Windows won because of pricing, that's all. Exactly the situation Apple is in right now. Very few compagnies can compete on pricing, esp. for the iPad.

Bland and boring is not an argument.

The technology (prog. language) behind it is not as important as you might think. It has never been a criteria for a platform to win (see Windows during 80-90). That said, you totally underestimate the quality and the power of Cocoa, it's not only about Objective-C.
