I think I will have to go with the 160Gb classic. Seems the only sane option at the moment. But Apple, PLEASE PUT THE TOUCH INTERFACE ON THE 160Gb!

Agree about the pacing. However it's not actualy a problem for me, as it fit's the books pace perfectly. I was a little annoyed that they used Texas Holdem instead of Baccarat, but knowbody knows how to play it so I supose it makes sence. I do agree though, that because they have replaced the card game with a popular one, then why is it that Giancarlo Giannini explains the game! if they wanted him to do that why not use Baccarat instead?

Thelast 3rd of the movie is a very good himage to the book, so the payoff is OK in my mind, it leads it into the next movie.... Which in theory should be Live and Let Die..... but we all know Bond 22 will be an original script. Perhaps it will be the first of the true Bond sequels?

Yes King may not be the 'best' write in the world, but I bet he's close to being the most prolific!

I disagree, not only was the movie far too long, it had no emotion at all, I really did not care at all when Kong died, in fact I was in the whole 'sooner he dies the better, someone give those planes some am-ram's to speed this scene up'.

Naomi is the only one in the movie that pulled off any sort of performance (and even her performance was cringe worthy at times). Kong looked good for the most part (if too human in some parts), however when in scenes with real people looked out of place (as did all the CGI for that matter).

Weta have proved ILM right when they said that LOTR was not challenging enough a project to compare it and star wars. Now that Weta have done a large blue/green screen project ILM's work on SW 1/2/3 looks brilliant.

Even though I am a PJ fan his direction leaves a lot to be desired on this project, yes I know it's his 'pet' project and as such he has done a 'George Lucas' on it, but not his best work that is for sure.

Likewise I like Jack Black in most everything he has done previous (and looking forward to the new D movie), but I think he should stick to comedy.

Adrien Brody put across a very normal performance, but is one of the better parts of the movie as he is actually believable at least.

The script is quite true to the original (and better) 1933 original, however to be fair the world has moved on and we expect a little more from our movies now, PJ proved that changing to story does not ruin the whole story in the LOTR trilogy, so why not on this one?

Talking of the original PJ should have kept it's original 100 minute runtime as 3 hours is just too long on a story with so little substance (Disney did it in 80 minutes in Beauty and the Beast).

Yes you should go see it and make your own opinion, but do not take the critics word for it and go in with an open mind, remember many of the best movies of the year have been the ones that have not been hyped to death.

Well said, unfortunatly you know me, can't resist shiny things (although I have played my PS2 for aproximatly 2 hours in 6 months!) I do love my PSP though, Agreed Sony have not got the right thing's (developers / content / online stuff) but someone other than Sony will do something (when EA stop throwing 2million crappy titles a month out on it) that shows it's potential (Please a decent MMORG) I wish I could live with one device, but my wife would probably leave me saying I'm having an afair because I have changed so much ;)

Podlover, just a quick one, yes you can watch the video on your PC/Mac, but I can already do that I don't need an iPod? 2-Plug your 320x240 res iPod into a TV? no thanks we've only just got rid of 352 line VHS, I don't want that sort of quality back, just download/convert the show to xvid/divx and watch it on an XBox or a hardware divx encoder; not only are they cheaper than an iPod but better quality.

I will however give the iPod gen 5 it's due, the battery life is much improved, and being able to have media presentations on your iPod and play them back will be usefully.

So like Dan, I love the iPod (have 2) and Apple product's in general,I just don't think the gen 5 deserved all the who ha it got.
