wow.. Maybe go for the porter, help keep unemployment numbers down..?
Some nice thought involved - making sure it doesn't just run off as and when, but it does seem a lot of money to pay. Having said that I don't travel much, maybe the frequent flyer would disagree!

Interesting idea. I had some sonic massage therapy as part of a course of physiotherapy a few years ago and it really did wonders for me.. Not sure I'd want one of these though! The hand-held massagers are much easier to store and probably better for localised/targeted treatment. I'm a layperson though, I could be wrong!

But.. isn't this incredibly dangerous?! It looks like it'd get in the way of the gearbox. And if driving while talking on a mobile is dangerous surely driving while checking your email is even more life-threatening?

Nice use of a freeze event.
Whenever I see the videos from these things it makes me wonder whether it's selective editing or if I'm just really bad at standing still - I couldn't hold a pose and not blink for the full 2 minutes most of these last! Otherwise I'd take part in one - I like the idea of making people stop and think for a moment in a place that's normally so crowded and fast paced that there's no time to think.

Hiya,
interesting to see how this one has spread... It obviously caught a lot of people's imaginations! Just to make clear though we're not dropping Life's Good or anything as drastic as that - we've got more information on our own blog at: http://www.lgblog.co.uk/2008/10/30/lifes-still-...
Thanks :)

I was a bit worried from the title but it's good this is anonymous. Could provide lots of insight if used properly, I'll be curious to see who uses it & how.

I think its a brilliant concept although I'm slightly surprised there hasn't been any outrage about tracking peoples movements online.. Maybe I'm just getting cynical..?

in Simply the most stunning use of slo-mo filming on Blending the mix
I love slow-mo effects when they're well done. I really liked some of the ones we did with the viewty last year: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=O3colwoyT_U
but I think this campaign is even more perfect because it does somehow remind you of that sense of tasting and feeling a refreshing drink. Hats off I say!

in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor - which one are you? on Blending the mix
I think most of us never stop dreaming completely (nor should we!) but I think those dreams or aspirations do change over time; due to age and changes in our surroundings and/or circumstances if nothing else. For instance, how many of us now do jobs that didn’t exist when we were children?!

in Microsoft’s most exciting innovation in years on Blending the mix
As you say this is very innovative! The picture password software sounds ideal for anyone who has trouble with traditional passwords and PINs. I can’t help wondering if there could be complications with using your own images for this purpose though – resolution settings or image alteration might present problems.
I’d definitely like to know more though, I think it has real potential, not just for UMPCs!
