OK, I was in Purlie Victorious way back in h.s. and I don't get the reference either. MLK didn't like it? He was friends w/ Ossie Davis (who wrote the play)...I'm sure they had their disagreements, but what does this have to do w/ the Funny or Die skit? Apples and oranges...

Cashier...but then my "boss" (the head cashier) screamed at me one day and I burst out crying and walked off the job and right across the street to Subway, where I became a sandwich artist. The Italian BMT is still my favorite.

We did Santa but I knew it was just a Christmas tradition and fictional character. My mom once said something to the effect of: Santa Claus is not getting credit for the gifts *my* hard-earned money bought.

I think there were about 40 people at dinner that night. We do everything ginormous during the holidays...well, as it relates to food, at least.
