Yes, I agree there is a problem with unchecked reproductive science. Just because we CAN do something, it doesn't mean we should. And fertility treatment does put a woman in a difficult situation: raise more children than she can afford to raise, or have an abortion for one or more of them, both of which are unacceptable alternatives, and both of which will most likely present the woman with a lifetime of regret. However, your post seems to say the only purpose of having children is to make money, which I hope is not what you mean, and I also hope was not the reason for this woman's decision.

Re: The Flying Nun

Depends on the nun.

Re: December Giveaway

Please enter me! http://twitter.com/iPat630/...

Re: The Real Victim

Man, this is SO true. I thought I was the only one who thought this. I stopped watching regularly a while ago. Now if it's on and I'm conscious, okay, but not making any special effort.

Re: Saturday of the Eighteenth Week of Ordinary Time

I appreciate your many comments, but I have to say, you are totally missing the point on this one. Moving the mountain is not about us, never ever ever about us, not us individually and not us collectively. Moving the mountain is about faith in the One who can do anything he wills, faith in God. These are all inspiring examples of human progress, but they are nothing compared to what God can do, if our faith would be even as tiny as a mustard seed.
