I have to agree as well. Trust is an important thing in friendship. I hope whoever was messing around with another's stuff realize it wasn't a good idea. You didn't over react. You simply made your point in the best way you could think of. They need to respect that and deal with it. If they don't like how you are they have two options. They can either leave or adjust.

On another note... I though Ratatouille was an excellent movie also.

Halo 3 sounds like it will be awesome. We haven't shelled out for an Xbox 3 yet but we will one of these days when the bills get a little more caught up. The four player co-op is totally going to be my favorite part! Jason and I play on occation. He plays alone and with some of his friends on occation as well. He gets frustrated with them though because they are more hard core gamers than he and have memorized all the maps in 1 and 2.

I told him about this post and he said "Sounds like a blast. Tony sounds like the kind of player I could really get along with on a mission. Except we might have to take turns with the wart hog. I bet we could swap some great stories about getting it stuck in strange places. I don't enjoy legendary either for the same reasons. Tell him we have a cross over link cable for the original x-box and like to have lan parties sometimes. It would be cool if he and Lexy could come and make a night of it some time. I'd like to meet her. She sounds nice. Plus she is nice to you so that is a big plus. Tell her congrats on her job. I can't wait to get an x-box 3... maybe next month or the next... not soon enough. You asked for opinions on the article you mention in the first sentence. I read it and felt the rage that is only ignited by closed minded thinking. Then I took a deep breath and concidered what had been written. As you've written everyone is intitled to his or her opinion not matter what I think of it. This is one of the reasons I avoid taking politics or religion with my mother. I know people of all sorts of religious stances also. I've never heard a Pagan say much negative about Christianity. They mostly comment on how the holidays are based on Pagan holidays.

I wish they would teach things like homemaking in school. I took home ec but it didn't really do me any good. They should offer the classes to men and women though. In today's society everyone needs to know that sort of thing. If I had learned how to cook, clean, balance a check book, and such we'd be a bit better off right now. (Stupid over draft fees.)

As far as Lexy's new job, that is totally awesome! I hope she really likes it. I know it will be a much shorter drive to work which is always nice. I think you are right, she is a winner. ^_^ You are a winner also you just need to find your niche. You'll get there eventually. Keep smilin' and don't let your current situation get you down.

You've already taken the first steps. You've determined there is something about yourself you dislike. You've decided you'd like to change that something. Now you are trying to come up with a way or ways to change that something. For even getting that far I am proud of you. Doing even that is more than most people are willing to do. I live with Jason. He has had to change several things about himself over the last ten years as have I so I can understand how hard changing can be.

John is putting Adam and Steve in a terrible posistion to have to choose between two friends. He is being immature and selfish but we've already determined that. You have done nothing wrong. Everyone thinks about themselves on occation, some more than others. It is human nature to be most interested in yourself. I know I am more interested in me than anyone else I know, lol. The trick is not doing so all the time. You've already learned this. A good example is the fact that you love Lexy. You care enough about another person, i. e. her, to marry her, charish her, and spend the rest of your lives together. That is saying something.

Anger is a natural responce to any negative situation and I feel that these recently past situations merit a bit of anger, saddness, and other negative feelings. If you hadn't felt these things I'd have to ask why. Venting is a good thing. If you don't vent your frustrations they'll build and you'll blow up. The next thing you need to do is ask yourself is John worth spending anymore of your precious energy on? Quit worrying about him and concentrate on the people who actually care about you. Think about those who have been there for you through this mire. Above all now that you've had all those negative feelings you need to start replacing them with positive ones. You need to go out and make new, happy memories with different people who have nothing to do with John. This should be the happiest time of your life! You're going to get married to a great woman who loves you. Don't let a petty nobody like John ruin that for you.
