Plus it needs to be possible to purge your history, so that copyrighted material is actually removed.

Re: The Song from the end of Portal Game

The song is called "Still Alive" by Jonathan Coulton, I beleive it's on the Orange Box soundtrack (and as such should be available to download from iTunes or Amazon...)

The Cake Is A Lie

Re: Stop writing AboutUs.org

I absolutely agree with you, I didn't come off too badly, but I've seen entries on AboutUs.Org which have individual bloggers home addresses and telephone numbers.

Also, as the site keeps a history of changes, it's impossible to remove information completely. Of course, I didn't need to re-enable the script!

I hope you do find a decent webhost with a good support dept.

Re: How would you organize the Gmail menu?

Well, if they can't make the top menu "personalisable" for your Google ID, I'd have to agree with you, Reader should be on the top bar. Personally, I'd swap it with Photos - on the basis that I want to access Gmail, Reader and Docuemnts several times a day, but I tend to only access Photos (although in reality I use Flickr) when I've got a set of photos to upload.

Re: Spouse 2.0 Day – will you attend?

Oh dear.

Much as there is value in showing appreciation for your "better half" - why oh why do we need another day when people are going to write endlessly long and romantic blog posts about it. What's wrong with limiting this kind of behaviour to already established "Singles Awareness Day" on Feb 14th?

I suppose at least if every post is correctly tagged, it ought to be possible to filter them all out...

Me, Single - Yes, Bitter - Yes, and I don't need reminding of what I'm missing as a result.

(P.S. Show your appreciation your way. If she deserves more than one day of recognition (and I have no doubt that is the case - if I were lucky enough to have someone, I wouldn't limit my appreciation to just Feb 14th!) why not show your spouse that this is about her and not just a reason for another post on a blog.

Re: Spouse 2.0 Day – will you attend?

"Being grumpy about it" is the only way I can get in on the fun - my "rant" post on my blog is going to spread the word too, and if I had someone (and I was part of a Web 2.0 startup) I'd proably be enthusiastic about it too ;-)

Re: Disappearing tracks

That does sometimes happen to me - if I've not listened to any music for a couple of days...

Re: HELLO, WHAT?
