I think most people who use WordPress will have at least looked at it because of the link on the dashboard.

Re: Ubuntu Feisty Fawn is here!

Thanks for the tip off Robert, Ubuntu was already on my list of things to do after my exams, the new version gives me more reason to start reading up now.

Re: Revolution OS

I'm about 10 minutes in, it's a great film so far, thanks for sharing it!

Re: Meme: Passion Quilt

Gah! The curse of the meme tag. I'll give this some thought and try to get something tomorrow.

Re: I’ve started using Twitter with my pupils…

Sorry for the 2nd comment but, your step 11 in the guide is fantastic. An example of cross-curricular teaching if ever there was one. Teaching pupils in a history class about computer programming, variables, and logic. Not dissimilar to this post yesterday from a Computing class. Brilliant!

Re: I’ve started using Twitter with my pupils…

This all sounds very promising Doug, I can't wait to see how it all goes, I've wanted to try doing something like this for ages.

I almost got myself sorted with using Pownce to get pupils to share groupwork with themselves and me, in a way similar to your 2nd twitter scenario - pownce allows for you to group your contacts into something akin to mailing lists, but then my timetable changed and I lost the only class it would have been feasible with - scunner!

Re: 4 quotations that will guide me next academic year

"The limits of my language are the limits of my world" - Ludwig Wittgenstein I believe.

Take it how you like, I find something different in it each time I think of it, but it's one I like to say to others to see what they find in it.
