in AIG Still Paying Bonuses to Top Execs on The Washington Independent
If these top executives are so good, why is this company needing to be bailed out?

There needs to be an investigation of the involvement of our Washington representatives in both houses. The American people want to know that someone will be held accountable in Washington. We're waiting!

in No Friend of Solar Power on The Washington Independent
Juan McCain hasn't been helpful in getting anything for Arizona except for reservation gambling (an outside interest of McCain's I might add) and illegals. He is a self-serving politician. Sign me a registered republican in Arizona who will NOT vote for Juan McCain. PS: He can't even control the southern border in his home state, how can we depend on him to secure the United States? I can also tell you why he has been reelected - lots of Hispanic voters in Arizona (remember McCain's amnesty plan and the fact that he has looked the other way on border issues) and there hasn't been anyone that has put up a strong enough fight for his seat.

As a taxpayer, I am requesting that a full investigation of those in the senate responsible for the oversight of these financial institutions occur. Heads should roll in this fiasco.

in McCain Brought Home the Bacon With 1989 Earmark on The Washington Independent
I'm also a resident of Arizona and a registered republican. Will NOT vote for Juan McCain. One characteristic of McCain that has surfaced on his campaign is the fact that he makes decisions based on his poor judgment and then has to spend time cleaning up after himself; i.e., economy, blasting Obama this past week, and now the controversy with Sarah Palin (he knew about this when he announced her as his running mate) are a few of the examples. I question his ability to make sound decisions for this country. One other thing, he claims to know how to solve the economic crisis, social security, the war in Iraq. If in fact he knows the solution to these issues, what is he waiting for and why the need to keep it to himself? These issues are critical to the people of this country (especially the Iraq war where lives are being lost everyday). The plans he has presented have all proven to be detrimental to the taxpayers. This man is a walking time bomb.

in McCain’s Mortgage Giveaway on The Washington Independent
Excellent article. McCain claims he has a plan to solve every ill in this country . Why is he keeping these plans to himself - especially the plan to solve the Iraq conflict. If he has a plan, lets put it in place now and save lives.

in Waxman to Paulson: AIG Is Still Being Irresponsible on The Washington Independent
Are we, the taxpayers, going to sponsor the "CEO Golf Challange" this year since AIG has always sponsored it. Can we do something to see that AIG is not allowed to spend our money in this way?

in Did McCain Learn From the S&L Crisis? on The Washington Independent
One thread to every article I read about John McCain is that he consistently makes poor decisions and then spends valuable time cleaning up after himself. This is not a quality that I want in a leader of this country.

McCain's response is no surprise. The true McCain is surfacing for all the American people to view.
This registered republican and Arizonian will not vote for Juan McCain.

in McCain Camp Blasts Shameless Obama in Post Debate Spin on The Washington Independent
I walked away with the impression that Juan McCain is ready, willing (and might be able if elected) to continue the policies of the Bush/Cheney regime regarding war and the spread of democracy. Obama, on the other hand, wants a different approach diplomacy. Obama also wants to mend America's reputation - McCain doesn't seem to care about that. No matter how McCain did in this debate - his actions last week lead me to believe that he is not a competent individual to hold the office of President.
