One of the things that I do with my plastic containers to prep them for recycling is setting them aside in somewhere in the house and when i'm washing dishes I use the discarded water to rinse them out.

I actually started recycling these containers earlier this year after I moved back to Denver. The city's recycling program sends hand outs and labels what can be recycled on them, as well as the bins themselves. Another thing I love about the program is that you can put all the recycling in one bin...therefore saving an hassle with sorting.

I love the art. I wish they would turn the trash can into a viewable form as well. When I started keeping track of my trash vs. recycling consumption I became very conscious of what stuff I was throwing away that could be recycled.

Either way love the ideas that Tel Aviv is promoting and wish other places in the MidEast would join the trend.

I have been keeping track of both my energy consumption and my garbage to recycling figures for the past few months. I think the more you are conscious of your usage the more you try to save.

I have cut my energy bill by two-thirds and i recycle about six times more than I toss the garbage (same sized cans)

Ben is probably one of my most inspirational Americans. To really go green it takes a huge movement and I think people try to make it in one jump and think they are really green.

I started small and am trying to implement it in our office. I think this may be the best way to get everyone to participate more.

One thing living in a relatively close community is I find that walking talks just about the same time or even shorter than trying to drive to where I need to go.

In the time it takes to get to your car, which I is usually parked a block away, to get to the front door is always shorter. I would recommend people to try this in their neighborhood and time themselves. Another positive aspect is seeing or appreciating the things you overlook when you drive past.

Although I agree it is time that businesses and government to reuse waste water in ways that can be healthy and impact our cultures and cities in positive ways.

However, I feel that no matter what companies and governments do to ensure the quality of water that is being put to use on agricultural. I see problems of contaminating the food source of putting other chemicals that would be consumed over time and that could create issues down the road. I always think of the Hinkley, California, although this was problem came about because a company leaked fluid into the water system.

I just hope that there is a very, very strict rule for these companies to ensure the safety of people.

That is just awful. How come there hasn't been any increase in protecting against chemical and oil spills. It is going to take years before the Yarkon River returns to itself. Can't we have a rubber ball system in ships to protect against things like this. Kinda of like Kramer's idea on Seinfeld.

How much rain do you get in Israel every year? Where I live in Denver, we hardly ever have rain storms in the summer anymore. We are lucky to reach our average of two inches. And where I lived last year, it wasn't unusual for rain storms to produce over two inches themselves. And it was always funny to hear the people complain about how they were in a drought, when nearly all of the rain went to the sewers and into the rivers and into the ocean.

In Colorado, we at least have the luxury of collecting most of our rain in the sewers that all lead back into the pipes eventually. I wish more cities who didn't receive much rain or received so much they don't think it to be a problem in the future would make efforts to collect the rain fall and put it to better use.

Again it will probably take a crisis for anyone to ever come to the conclusion that we take rain for granted.

It doesn't surprise me that they would be doing this in Dubai. The city has really taken over as far as innovative designs and thinking. Denver, where I work, is looking at building solar energy plants every few square miles. It won't get rid of the natural energy consumption, but at least something.

I have a sling box and since I've gotten it I must say that I use Hulu so much more. My sling box is the pro, which doesn't have any bells and whistles, but the quality is so low compared to hulu. I like it, but I wish there was an easier service to watch my tv at home.

Although I agree with your argument, I think this may hold politicians more accountable in the long run. So I guess that sort of falls in on your argument. Either way I think this is a great resource that can be used to reach a larger audience.

I unfortunately grew up in Colorado Springs and have a very deep dislike for Focus On The Family. I would like to see them investigated, like the Mormon church, for spending money to campaign against Prop 8. Hopefully there tax exempt status would be stripped away. Let's focus on protecting our theology, and putting 20 percent of our work force out of work. That family is sure going to have to learn to focus on how they are going to pay the bills now.

I know that this is a very long term goal, but I truly believe that our economy can be saved by investing in our green energies. It may take 20 years, but for the longest time we failed to create new ideas and put them into use because of the costs and how people wouldn't make nearly enough money. We have to always look ahead and I really hope people will start to change with Obama and start to think not just about today or tomorrow but 30 or 100 years from now.

I completely agree with Dean and how I have yet to see his birth certificate verified. However, I was always under the idea that if one of their parents were from that country and still legal citizens that they would be granted 'natural born status.'

For instance, if you had one parent from Colorado and the other from Paris, France and they happened to be taking a short vacation in Toronto say and you were born, you were still considered a natural born citizen.

Although I agree that the business model wouldn't really save these companies at the present had they had developed practices to produce hybrid models 10 years ago they would be alright.

If they are able to produce more efficient cars, while replacing their current models people may be more willing to buy hybrid vehicles.

This is great news. I know Salazar personally and I know that he will do a great job. He has already fought so hard for us here in Colorado and I know he will restore some of the conservation efforts and creating a more friendly environment for people to visit.

And like you said before he was a moderate democrat and with the way this state has shifted in recent years could really put someone in his place to really go in line with Obama's plan. Reports from Denver have mentioned Mayor Hickenlooper, John Salazar and Andrew Romanoff, my personal bet on it.

Absolutely...what is the chance of this ending back up in court after the recount. Its one thing when you have a recount and you still win be a large margin. Its another when the person trailing wins, and does by a small margin.

Also, why weren't the absentee ballots counted in the first place. Is that saying that you still have the right to vote, but we won't count it unless we actually need to.

It really speaks to as far we have come as a state here in Colorado. From the KKK in the 1920's to having the first with having two African-Americans as leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives is amazing.

It is also interesting considering we do not have a very high African-American population compared to many other states in the country.

I am a huge advocate of shrinking cities and urban redevelopment. I have seen the spread of development in way too many cities and how it ruins the inner areas and then depletes the areas of important resources.

This is a great idea, but I don't see any dry cleaners around Denver allowing you to take garments into the store in a bag and having them returned to you in the same bag.

I would that is a very significant figure in the fight against products such as plastics and paper being used today.

Hopefully we have people who don't just buy these once and stop there. We need people who are going to go green through their entire house.

As someone who knew Bob, I know that this is a tragic way for a great person to go out. However, this was the third accident he has had. And even after the first two accidents he kept going back out there.

As for the helmet, they like seat belts, can only do so much to save the person. No one knows the exact circumstances surrounding accident, but it must have been very terrible. That being said I know Lawrence is under going major road and sidewalk reconstruction.
