Great list! However, I do not quite agree to avoiding STI. I believe it is a great way to implement the party model (refer Data Model Resource Book by L Silverston ).
Thank you anyway! I hope you will keep adding to it!

We've used STI for an enterprise application in RoR. It works awesome.

Thanks for the great video. Seth is awesome as usual. I always wanted to know these things about Tribe. Since book isn't yet available at local stores here.
