Hip-hop is alive and well, it's just that the mainstream has come up lame... again.

Fortunately there are many talented artists out there who take their art seriously and love God too.

Unfortunately, it doesn't always get noticed as much as you'd expect because it isn't dumbed down radio trash... which happens to be what kids are looking for if they are looking for it at all.

Even though it's not a pretty website like Relevant, Sphereofhiphop.com is a fantastic resource. They were on groups like Mars ILL, The Procussions, Mr. J, L.A. Symphony etc etc before virtually anyone else took notice.

Some of you into the positive/indie type of mainstream hip-hop might also enjoy some of the records from Illect Recordings. Hit up Illect.com/site for their stuff.
