Unfortunately, the flight was on time. Unfortunately the check-in staff was also the most inefficient I've ever seen in my life. Even getting to the airport almost 3 hours early was not enough to get through their check-in line prior to the 45-minute cutoff. They tried to make me pay to reschedule my flight. They were mean and rude and defensive -- accused me of calling one of the agents a name and threatened to have me escorted. Long story short, I didn't fly out until the following day, and was delayed 2 hours in Washington Dulles -- so, not the delays are not unique to Chicago. I know you don't know me, but I thought I'd share.
