What in the world is this now? NFL selling liquor ?????
Dear friends.......we can't even have a lousy cigarette out on a PUB Patio, but they are selling freaking alcohol..????????
It amazes me how our Governments just let this go on and on and on......
Appears to me that, they are ALL drinkers, not smokers, and therefore, society continues......
Does anyone know at all, of the extreme dangers All Alcohol carries...........?
It is like a poisonous drug, and a Lead Minion with Satan............
To do what ever he wants with our health..............
This has got to be stopped...........................ASAP

Wow, that was quite a large article & very well written! I was going to compete with our BC Liquor Laws, but, I can't hold a candle to this !
However, (you won't like this bit now) Alcohol is the growing scourge of society. With health afflictions mounting every day, but many are reluctant to speak of it, out of shame or embarressment, I'm not sure.
Currently, the most common (mine) Grand-Mal Seizures, then there's, near deafness, near blindness, near rotted liver & one of the deadlist,
severe heart condition. What we need to do, is warn our youth.
Doesn't matter if its sold 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, that's neither here nor there. What matters is our young people, need to be made aware of the hidden dangers, none of which have any cures at this time either.
Otherwise, when all us 50+er's are in Nursing Homes, being spoon fed & diapered, who'll take over all the many jobs we're all doing now??

Holy Mackeral !!! Somebody's pissed off !!
As a recovering alcoholic my dear, I certainly understand your feelings, as I used to resent the fact that there were no liquor stores open on the weekends here in BC/Canada. HOWEVER, (you won't like this), from drinking socially for 30 yrs, I've discovered what this scourge of society is able to do, with your health. My late husband & I were both hit with permanent Grand-Mal Seizures, with no cure. In the last 17+ mos I've discovered many who are also dealing with serious health problems, from liquor. It doesn't matter if the freaking stuff is sold in a local grocery store or on some hill top in South Africa. Nothing could stop me from getting my regular VODKA !!!! I understand, somewhat, your opinion, but it doesn't really matter, as our society currently is spiralling out of control with this scourge and many others. At the rate we're going, when us 50+er's are all in nursing homes (if we've lived that long), who's going to take over running the country's? If our youth are tanked up with liquor & drugs all the time, destroying their own health & lies?
Maybe you should relax a bit Kal, and help many of us, who have been trying to convince Governments to rule on mandatory Health Warning Labels on all liquor containers.
You see, we had no idea that little & often, would result in such devastating consequences. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Good article........!
Aside from this, there's also a possibility of severe permenant health afflictions, that can hit a person, without any warning. You don't need to be drunk nor drink excessively either. Just a ongoing moderate drinker could/can be easily hit. Everything from Grand-Mal Seizures, near complete deafness and/or blindness, rotted liver & good old heart attacks, all of which there are no known cures.
Gee, and all because of the almighty drink !
Keep up the good work Ryan !!

Why are you good people, encouraging so much Alcohol consumption ?
I think its not necessary, as it is the scourge of society !
Many of us, have been trying to convince our Government Officials, for the desperate need to have mandatory health warning labels on all containers, mostly to prevent our youth from destroying their lives, as many of us old farts have done already. Not from being drunk or disorderly or ludicrous bingeing, no, just simply from one or two a day, resulting in incurable health afflictions, such as permanent Grand-Mal Seizures, loss of hearing, sight, rotted liver & good old Heart Attacks !!
If we don't try and prevent our youth from this, who do you think is going to pick up all of our professions, when we're in nursing homes, being spoon flipping fed & diaperred ???????
Come on good people............. Let's get some sense about this.............
Our financial world wide problems are destructive as it is............
Let us not add to it, with losing our health !!!
May God help us all !!!!

Why they have been allowed to do this, is beyond me! It appears that our society, is relying on Alcohol to help them through today's worry's/struggles/sorrow's/stress etc etc. Which is exactly what I & my late husband did for 30 yrs. It does indeed help one through life's difficult problems, but it carry's it's OWN problem, that NOTHING will get rid of. All alcohol contains sufficient drug like powerful grasp, that so easily destroys ones health! Currently there are NO cures either!
Therefore, one, two or three drinks can calm ones anxiety, so that your own opinion, of YOUR situation, seems not quite so bad. BUT, just wait until its worn off, then things in your miserable life, seem so much worse!!
Oh, one more thing..........after some time/or little time ? differ's with each individual - Alcohol itself may get somewhat BORED, then deal you a real nasty blow, to your..........um.......oh ya, HEALTH !!!!!!!!! Then, your entire life is jolted beyond belief !!!
So dearest 'KIRIN', making the almighty dollar appears paramount to you, right now. Wait until there are so many illness's from drinking, that many cannot work, therefore will not have sufficient income to spend on your freaking beer!!! Will we see you in, ohhhh, say, BANKRUPTCY !!!
One suggestion Sir's, REMOVE this high quantity of Alcohol in your precious Beer, PLEASE, before it's too late !

I agree with your words here 100%.
My personal goal, along with MADD, is to somehow convince our Canadian Government Officials of the desperate need to legislate mandatory health warning labels on all liquor containers !
While it won't completely stop all our youth from drinking, it hopefully will help at least 50% of them.
There are currently 5 common severe health afflictions, hitting moderate drinkers, or at least what many of us thought was moderate drinking, that being 1-2 stiff drinks per day. This February Medical Info released stated that moderate drinking of this type, should not be more than 1-2 per week, maximum !
The health problems are as follows, and in no particular order:
-Grand Mal Seizures
-Rapidly Progressive Deafness
-Rapidly Progressive Blindness
-Rapidly Corroded Livers
-Heart Attacks
None of which have any forewarning signs, nor any cures at this date.

All your diligence in this regard is so appreciated !
If we don't do something soon, what will happen, when all us old sods have been dropped of at Senior Nursing Homes, who will then take over/assume all our professions, if our youth have already destroyed their own health & futures ?

Good idea! A nation wide price increase would be an excellent idea, although, having said that, I wonder. Society appears to be losing jobs, abandoning children, pets and generally all responsibilities...

And lets not forget our apparent over indulgence with cell phones! I mean, we can't afford to pay our mortgages? But we still must have a cell phone and beer? Good luck with this one...

Alcohol is so very easy to start. Wether ones been influenced by parents or not!
My late husband & I found it to be a LEGAL method of dealing with daily stress, anxiety & worries.
Only problem was we had never heard of any HEALTH problems that goes hand in hand with the crap !!!
All alcohol contains sufficient drug power to dish out, basically ANY illness it wants. With 99% of them having NO cures! Therefore you end up having your mid life destroyed quickly !!! If NOT before !!
Now, do you want that for anyones children ???
I sure don't !!!
