Thank you for saying this. I don't get this whole rallying around Hillary and sisterhood thing. I don't like her positions and I don't like her racially-tinged attacks. Where was the sisterhood when Hillary supporter Andrew Young was claiming Bill was blacker than Obama because of all the Black women Bill had dated?

Bishop Jakes makes some good arguments, but I think he could have stood up for Rev. Wright a little more. Despite recent evidence to the contrary, Rev. Wright is a respected theologian and he's done great things in Chicago.

I was in the grocery store and the 30 something African-American cashier told me that she did not want to vote for Obama, just because he was Black. Since I'd just spent 3 hours canvassing for Obama, I asked her what issues really mattered to her and said I'd do my best to see if I cd share the information with her. She could not think of one question she had about Obama, Clinton, or McCain! All she knew was that she didn't want to vote for Barack "just" because he wa Black. Hopefully, she'll get distracted by American Idol and stay away from the voting booth,lol.
