Cool, keep me/us updated, I'm interested, as are others I'm sure, in any discussions relating to how Facebook's business pages are being used (if at all?!). Instead of Beacon, I want to know how people are using SocialAds, and what kinds of resluts they are getting.

Facebook deleted/disabled my personal account, without any warning. I'm trying to find out, from FB, why the account was disabled (I think because I had several fan pages created....but they WEREN'T fake, they were the pages of clients and friends). Try explaining THAT to a client?!

FB could have warned/written me, and I would have said "sorry", and had the clients/friend create the page, and add me as an admin.

Nick, you said you are using a page as a "focus group"? That's cool, can you explain more about?

The Top Pages app is sort of a directory. Maybe FB has been too busy screwin' around w/Beacon to make the directory?

redirecting a domain name to a Fan Page works (don't believe me, click on mine!).

and why stop with apps, I'd love to unload my Fan Page (141 "fans" and growing) on some sucker(whoops, I mean 'investor').

let's not forget the bogus auction of the "I am Hungry" app, for $20K.
(except that Nick still believes it to be legit!).

It seems to be a cool feature that, you are right, will get better.

I've gotten 100 "fans" on my fan page, so I'd say it's effective for brand enhancement, at the least.
