That would be helpful, on top of making my coworkers jealous!

'Part privatisation' of RMail is all over the news but I've yet to hear, see or read what part(s) is to be privatised, what the unions objections are or what Labour MPs objections are.

It seems the media assume we are to regard this is as a 100% tribal conflict of which no more clarification is required.

I guess they're probably right.

The part that aggravated me more than the policy switch was <a href="http://bkite.com/02baQ"target="_blank">The Lie Well, that and the other lie, the one that says "We're doing this because it's become hard to estimate what size airplane to use" instead of the truth, "We can charge you for this, up to and including the price of another ticket!" Hooray hidden costs. Jeremy

Where in the heck are you getting a server certificate for $15?

The entire SSL certificate industry is nothing more than a big protection racket. You pay the money so your users won't get ugly security warnings, and that's it.

I've been responsible for obtaining and renewing the SSL certificates the companies I've worked for in this business. The only "verification" they have ever done is "verifying" that they got their money. The effort it would take to obtain a browser-trusted certificate that says pretty much anything you want -- especially one of those 30-day "testing" certificates -- would be minimal.

Yeah, I'm sure some issuers do more verification than others, and some of them have multiple "levels" of certificates based on what information they are verifying. But how many users look at the certificates websites send, see what is verified, look at the issuer to decide how much verification was probably done, and then decide whether to trust the site? Zero. So this part of the system hardly even matters any more anyway (if it ever mattered in the first place as anything beyond theory).

Thus, a self-signed certificate actually provides MORE security than a "real" one, because with one of those, you can accept the certificate the first time and know that you're always hitting the same site you got the first time around, because a different self-signed certificate wouldn't be accepted. With a browser-trusted certificate, you'll never know if someone is posing as the site with a completely different, but still browser-trusted, certificate.

in Booty Shorts, Not Just for Jammies Anymore on Phashionable
I'm a guy and I love wearing booty shorts. I sleep in Booty shorts practically every night with a thong. If I was a girl I would wear them, just openly. Right now I got on Green booty shorts, thong with my sister's blue spagetti strap. I wear my sisters clothes often, her skirts, thongs, shorts, blouses, heels, and my mom's pantyhose. I love wearing pantyhose. As for as my booty shorts I'll be in atleast my booty shorts all night tonite, don't know about the spagetti strap, wouldn't want my mom to open my door and see my little skinny blue strap going over my shoulders. lol I love Booty Shorts, and under the covers, you can know most of my hips are hanging out of them!

Hi Lilla,

I understand how frustrating being sidelined is, but your ankle will feel better sooner than you expect.

Just give it rest and you'll be back to full stride in no time.

Watch !

hey lilla !

long time,

I was wondering ... I've been looking into purchasing a nike + wristband, but have found that they are quite expensive, at least too pricey for a poor college student :-)

Do you know of any other place where I might be able to find one ? I am really interested in joining all the fun !

Best,

I would love for you to elaborate on Cisco and them getting in trouble for liking tech too much.

Also, what kind of impact do you think Web 2.0 is going to have on the internet? Is it mostly hype or something I need to study up on?

Thanks!

Good point about community. Whether you are in a small business or large corporation, you have to have the small groups. I worked for an environmental engineering firm that was very effective due to the close knit network and effective use of technology. Not sure on Drupal though.

It looks like they need a bit more help in the proofing department.

As a Nashua resident, I was surprised to see the city listed. Hopefully inaccurate press falls under the "There's no such thing as bad press" adage.

haha... good to know that you took a step back and realized that you have so many wonderful things going on in your life... what you've accomplished, what you have, who you are. i guess it helps take away the stress and frustration from the tasks you're trying to tackle at the moment. but always keep fighting and pushing the limits though...

i would still kill to be you... the guy version of you though.

You should wear a blonde wig, if you really want to look like that one on O'Reilly. Though the glasses are a nice touch.

Although for some reason, glasses always look better on women with dark hair. On blondes, it looks dorky. But with black hair, glasses are hot.
