That would be this one: http://baetzler.de/humor/meat_beings.html

I've always liked that story. Did it start the meme of robots seeing humans as meat, or was it just playing with the idea?

Drew That's the one, though I couldn't really say whether it started it or not.
Anyway, nice comic. They always have something hidden just behind the main flow of the comic, that ends up being intellectually intriguing.

Some are, some aren't- same as any other group of people. What's your point?

I made some slight tweaks to this one in an attempt to get a better rating. The original is here.

But it will look so much better coloured! :)

The tweaks were relatively minor - I added the words in the second panel, made the photograph blurry, and added the second rock figure in the background of the third panel.

I'm kind of surprised this one isn't clear to a lot of people. I guess my brain works in a strange way. At any rate, I made some more tweaks to steer you all in the right direction.

Sigurther No worries man, some people think a little more abstractly than others. A few of us got it, a few of us went huh. Shouldn't have to alter your vision to appeal to your audience, they're gonna come back wether or not they get the joke. ;)
Kayla Well, I got it right away, if that's any consolation. And I love this one... Spirit Rover's building friends!

I've added a little context...

Hef NOW it's clear!
Much better, I'd vote it 3.5stars now if I hadn't already voted it 2 before. =)

There are robot fridges in all of those strips, but that's about the only thing they have in common. It's not like disney has a lock on cartoons about talking mice :)

Rodrigo They dont? Damn it! then i should have made that comic.... Blicky Mouse... it was this very original idea about a walrouse.

OK, so based on what the people on Digg were saying I watched the South Park bit online. I fail to see how anyone could think that it was the same idea. You could replace the whale in this strip with anything else similarly weird - I chose a whale to fit in with the most recent strip fight theme.

I just don't get you sometimes, internet.

Actually, robots of a late variety. I'm having time management issues lately. I'll post it as soon as it's done.

Thanks for finding the typo! There's still enough time to fix it before it gets printed!

It was made in greyscale, because the book is going to be printed that way. It fits with the time period, as well :)

I'm not sure - that's all handled by the people at ka-blam. They're kind of hard to get a hold of though, so I would think probably not. Are you getting your mail forwarded?

Sorry to everyone who has had to wait so long. If it's any consolation, I am also waiting for my order to go through :(

I value all feedback, good or bad. I just get tired of how extreme criticism is on the internet. People tend to either think something is the best thing ever, or that it is so bad that it should not exist.

Sorry if I seemed defensive :)
