in Sonicstage V Updated (v5.2) on Sony Insider
Sony really need to make at least one version of Sonicstage V available, as a consumer I have been badly burnt by their recent exploits.
I bought a car stereo advertised as being compatible with Walkman, it even lists my NWZ-A729 on it's website as being compatible. Try it out, turns out I am limited to playing the first 256 folders, so I can only access artist A -J, not very compatible at all!!! Contact Sony, they wash their hands of the problem, tell me when they say "Walkman", they mean "ATRAC Walkman" (obviously). Fortunately I have my old NW-A3000 in my drawer charge it up, and lo and behold it works with my new Sony car stereo, however it's almost impossible to use as SonicStage 4 is so damn buggy. Resort to installing Japanese Sonicstage 5.1 on, persevering with it in japanese and work out how to copy music.
Should it really be this difficult to use Sony products? Of course not! Have Sony lost the plot and no longer care what perception they are putting out on the market, when they wash their hands of problems of their own creation due to internal squabblings? Looks like it...
I'm using my real email address here, as if Sony want to explain the MTP/USB mess they created and how they can get away with claiming Walkman compatibility, when the mean old products, and why 2 brand new items that claim to be compatible don't work together, yet they think they can walk away from the problems, I would be glad to discuss it with them.

How about this?
"Either way I don’t think Nintendo had imagined that Sony PS2 would still outsell their Wii."
How difficult is it to understand, Wii and PS3 are not competing in the same arena. People that buy Wii are not typical gamers, they would not have been buying PS3 (not for many years anyway).
If you want to compare Wii against something, compare it against the 7 year old PS2, which is outselling Wii. Sony are competing against the 360 with the PS3, and it's quckly clawing back it's lost year.
What's most worrying, is that it seems any old idiot can start a blog about gaming, claiming to be an expert.
