The junkies have actually been fairly soccer friendly, its just the reality of their demographic that soccer coverage doesn't appeal to their audience Heck, until the Caps started winning this season, they barely talked about Hockey. Lurch, who puts the sports page together only finds the World Cup interesting but both EB and JP play co-ed soccer and have confessed to following the sport.
They've had players and coaches on the air before, including Ray Hudson for over an hour talking about the '02 Portugal win, they did a Bachelor knock off with Ryan Nelsen when he was here, and talked to players including Jeff Agoos, Ben Olsen, Freddy Adu.
Did you ever catch the Soccer Show they briefly aired on WJFK one season?

Wasn't much of a soccer fan at the time, so I never listened. I do remember hearing promos though. Maybe you and I should do a demo and try to convince them to run another soccer show. Haha. I was surprised to see "Fairfax" pop up on my stats; usually I'm the one (when I'm at work) showing up from there.
